I care. :skull:

I think Trapdoor Below is the better game. Lighthouse has no progression, I can't even level-up.

Also, most of the screen in Lighthouse is dark. Who wants to play a game where you can't see? Reminds me of the time I got stuck in a cave and had to light a torch and some rats attacked me and I had to ditch the torch and climb out...

And Trapdoor Below has various food items. Who can resist such delicious food??? No one, that's who.

Oops, accidentally pressed the Alt key. Be right back...

What's the use of a lighthouse in daylight?

My vote's for Trapdoor Below. Lighthouse was well made but didn't keep my attention for long. Trapdoor at least had me playing for awhile.

Lighthouse, definitely. Trapdoor is only slightly better in gameplay than Progress Quest.

I'm sorry, but that's downright unfair. In Progress Quest you literally do nothing but stare at a progress bar. In Trapdoor Below, you have control over your character, the ability to use strategy, and a very high amount of replayability due to randomly generated levels. Are you trying to insult Trapdoor's creator? I seriously hope this is a joke...

I was exagerating, of course, but Trapdoor Below seems like grind grind grind. I mean, when your battle system consists entirely of clicking (or holding) in the direction an enemy is, you need to do some major changes.

But anyway, maybe we should leave the Trapdoor discussing to the it's own thread before Ablach Blackrat starts handing us our ban cards.

I find it a good thing that HOFdom seems harder to attain these days

What's that mean? People are making worse games now adays, or people are making better games or more good games than before, giving more of a competition?

Or maybe most of the votes are from actual people, and not from duplicate accounts.

well that there are much more genuinely 'acceptable' games, for lack of a better word. Therefore, there's a better fight. It's not like one game will be put up against 4 pieces of scrap anymore.

Yeah, I agree, weckar. Excellence in GM games is a lot more easy to find now than it was a few years ago.
