So basically you now have weekly video shows, monthly(?) "full" episodes, and now a weekly radio show?

*sigh*

We normally don't allow members to announce "upcoming projects". We insist they post their magazine/video/website first, and then announce it.

But since you're announcing a "live event", your early announcement seems fine. And I know you'll do your very best to insure this event takes place as scheduled. Right? Nothing short of a fatal heart attack will be a legitimate excuse for canceling/delaying.

Anyway, this sounds fun. I hope you're prepared for the high listener volume I expect you'll get.

you got a problem with that :)?
The full episodes are not monthly, they are just whenever.
I bet you can't wait till we get our magazine out?

Oh we are sure it will happen. Yeah, I know people usually arn't allowed to announce their stuff (thats why I PMed you, remember?)
I am hoping for a large turnout.

We want to remind people that we will be having a live Chat room on our site for people to talk in during the show.

Yea, I had that feeling as well for the first little bit of reading. I read it over again, and I'm impressed, because if anything I have to admire your ambition. Here are some words of advice. Just because your going on live, you should still practice your speaking and script. One more thing, please remember you are LIVE, and basically everything you will say will be heard. Other than that, have fun.

I hope you're prepared for the high listener volume I expect you'll get.

Yes, thats always a good idea to hope that -_-
It supposed to be able to take the demand though, so we shouldn't have any problems.

If you are sure you will call in, can you please post saying so, so we know about how many people will call?

No, please don't do that. It's not really fair to use this topic for an "audience tally". Members can just PM you, or one of your co-hosts.

Its only as successful as people make it. If no one ever listens, and no one ever calls in, yeah, it will probably go under. On the other hand, if we get lots of listeners and lots of views, we will probably keep it going.

What I'm saying is that many people might not have time!

Your GMVision show has a PAUSE button on it. So when someone has to go do something it can be paused and continued later. You can't do that with the radio show unless you are going to record each broadcast and put it up for download so people that missed the show can download and listen.

some people don't ever read announcements do they? I would appreciate it if you would look before you post next time -_-

I hope you can make it on the 10th, if not we will be uploading a recorded version later!

(and that applies for all the live shows)

And will you guys post the show like on youtube or something for people who want to watch it later on?

A live radio show? Like, the tune-into-a-channel-and-listen stuff?

...you do know what you're getting yourself into, right?

I mean by all means what you're doing is amazing, but it's much more than just talking. And then imagine a radio show based on games. Game design can be interesting, but I can't imagine how you'd put it in audio form and retain it's awesomeness. What I'm trying to say is you can't really describe the wonderful graphics of a game without showing it. You can't describe the sound effects without streaming them. You can't describe how interactive it is, or how long it is, or how stable or fluid or extensive it is without playing it. That's why most games are advertised via trailers.

Anyways, however it ends up, I wish you the best of luck.

@Soulsnatcher: It's GMT -5.

I'm excited to see how this is going to work out, though I probably won't join in. Just listen.

For those of you confused about the timezones, the show will start at 3:30:00 PM (GMT), aka 15:30:00 (GMT). Take your timezone (ex. mine is -6) and add/subtract from that time. 15-6=9. So 9:30.

Yes, so in the UK, it will start at 16:30, because it's currently British Summer Time (BST).

Will there be a live comment thread so we can post our thoughts and feedback throughout the show?

This sounds pretty interesting! I just did some math, and where I live, the show would be on at 10PM, so I will most probably be able to listen! (If I remember!) But I have a game that is finished, and I might send it to you so you could review it! I haven't posted it anywhere yet, but I would like to see what you think of it.

The chat and flash player doesn't seem to be on the site at the moment, we are working on it.

For whatever reason, the site reverted its self and removed the chat box and audio player. Fortunately, I had a back up copy and it is all working fine now.

We have fixed a bug the site had with firefox so all firefox users should be able to listen on saturday.

In other news:
We are in need of a host for this Saturdays show! This is urgent as we have realized that we may not be able to cope with just two hosts.
(requirements; Skype, Good mic and can speak good English)
