Easy Multiplayer Online

EMO is an extension to easily make great online games. Want to make an online game but astounded at the difficulty of DLL's like 39dll and even Game Maker's own built-in system. This is the extension for you. With this extension you can quickly make online games just check out the included help file. It uses the client to server to client method at the moment which may be a little slow, especially since this extension doesn't support udp connections yet. It's on my to do list. This extension uses the 39dll extension and the ds_table extension, so you must install and use those for this to work. I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of this requirement and if you have any advice I'd love to hear it. Don't worry, I'm not going to make you search the web for these. I've included them along with a help file. If this becomes popular I might make an tutorial/example.

To be honest this first version has a lot of bugs. In fact, I'm not sure if it even works! :) I plan to release a hopefully bug free version soon. I'd recommend waiting for that version to come out before you use it. Until then you can look at the help file. It explains how this works pretty well.

You shouldn't post it unless you want people to try it and make judgement... Because they will try it, possibly not like it, and suddenly people have lost interest and you'll be lucky to get anyone to try it.

Very nice idea. If you are going really to complete it, this will be a good solution for online-game makers.
And yes, it would be good if you could make an example for some users.

Sorry, GMC removed my subscription so i didn't know people were replying

I've identified a couple of bugs:
1. IP address input doesn't work every once in a while. I may have this fixed but i need to test it.
2. Player variables are completely screwed up. This may take a while to fix.

Unfortunately, my schools started up and i have football (Yes, I'm a football playing computer nerd :) ). Those are taking up most of my time and i don't have much time to work on Game Maker projects. So this extension is in a state of suspended animation until i have more time. I think it's a good idea though and i really want to fix it.

I would be really happy if you finished this. There's a missing bracket or two for the net variables, I believe, so that's why it's not working.

the link does not work

And since the topic is rendered useless, the only logical thing to do is to bump it up so everyone can see it.
Right?

Unfortunately you have a dilemna. If you want to attract users who don't know how to code online, then you can't release a buggy version, because if it doesn't work that's even worse than releasing a complicated version, because the users will do it right and it won't work, teaching them that learning to code does not pay.
