This is Osmoze.

A difficult arcade game with a simple concept.
Press Z to teleport to the right, release it to teleport to the left again.
There are 15 levels in the game. The controls are the arrow keys and Z.
INCLUDES an option to turn the music off! :P
Have fun!

Updated 8/22. Easier, slightly tweaked.

The concept is smart and for the most part well-executed, but I'm really annoyed over the fact that regular old walls kill you. Sure, the moving things should kill you, and teleporting inside a wall should kill you, but just walking into a wall? I find that frustrating and senseless.

Still enjoying the game though, might edit when I complete it.

I'll definitely take that into consideration next time.
By the way, there may very well be a next time.

Edit: Actually, I'll just update it now.

The level design is quite good. Frustrating, yes, but addicting. You should add a counter somewhere that shows what level you reached. And saving/loading would be good too.

Yay, I had fun this time! Having walls not covered in insta-kill acid made the experience a lot more enjoyable. Turns out I had actually reached the second to last stage the last time I played, but thanks to this update I reached the end swiftly and only with deaths that made sense.

In addition to a counter showing what stage you're on (actually, putting the number somewhere in the level design would be cool too) you might want to consider adding a timer and save the best time for the entire playthrough and each individual stage. This would add replay value. It's important that the timer doesn't stop or reset when you die so you properly separate the chaff from the weed.

Overall, good game. If you make a sequel I'll be all over it like money on Blizzard.

I'll be on that like the opposite of 3d Realms on Duke Nukem Forever.

if anyone can record a video of this game and upload to youtube, please do - this will help lots of people have no access to ms-Windows seeing how this game looks like
