Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this

But is there a 3d topdown engine for Game Maker? Like the old GTA 2 or Minigore for the iPhone if you've ever played it. I wanted to take it and use the core of it to start my own engine for a series of Games I currently have ideas for. Please Give me a name or a link.

Sorry, Yea it was haha. I forgot what game was 3d topdown, I guess GTA just was what I thought of due to its huge popularity.

I advise you use d3d for this. It's simple.

And GTA 2 was 3d. The camera was top-down but it was still 3d. The character and cars etc. were sprites though.
