I like it, the new features will be very helpful. :thumbsup: Hell, you're going to be competing with Game Maker soon, lol.

Very nice piece of software, did you consider making it also for Pygame? With a little bit more than this is possible to create games for other languages!

Contact me if you are interested on keep talking!
;)

(sorry about my English, im from Spain)

Seems like a rival ^^. My (unfortunately in Development) Project Unlimited Studio supports Map export for Game Maker too. (or any self-written Format)

@equinox Thank you.

@famous Those look like you put a decent amount of work into that project, it would be a shame to give up now. Looking forward to see it in action.

This looks like a really great program, but I'm getting an error when I try to add a new object:

ERROR in
action number 1
of Other Event: User Defined 4
for object Mod_03:

Error in code at line 27:
   				db_entry_add(table_obj,tempSpr,name,xx,yy,sprPath,alphaPath,map_color,cat,subNo,nos,transparent);
                                                                                       ^
at position 86: Unknown variable nos

Of course, as with all "unknown variable" errors, the fix should be simple enough :P

I have determined that you can use this tool alongside GM: Studio. Work around the "execute_file" being obsolete by:
1: Opening your map file in notepad
2: Copy the code inside:
3: Put the code in your game, for instance in the room create event.

Thank you for this great software Bleed! :thumbsup:

No problem!
This tool is great, and has saved me a lot of trouble. It has a place on my desktop right next to GM. :smile:

How does support for Hexagonal grids sound? Working on it and will be included with the next release, if all goes as planned.

Seems it's related to the Minimap window and the surface...i had to put in a power of 2 multiplication for the surfaces to be compatible with older systems, can you tell me the room size you are using?

Thanks a bunch Andy, will get right to fixing this.

EDIT : Made the fix and updated the links, but no version change...please re-download and tell me if you still get the error.
