Who is Takishawa? Why is he wanted? Go on an adventure through a colourful 3D world to figure it out. This game marks my first venture into 3D programming, so there are still a few things that could use polish, but hopefully you'll find it enjoyable all the same. Made in: GM7 Pro. Screen Type: Fullscreen only. Changes Screen Resolution: Yes. EDIT: Making a sequel, for those who are interested. -Andrew This post has been edited by overboy: Dec 3 2009, 11:03 AM |

Maybe you should wait for it to be virus scanned before you post it up?
Anyway, I can't wait to play this game, it looks fun. EDIT: Argh, I'm a fool not to see the other link, I'll get back later because I have no time now. This post has been edited by Pinpickle: May 27 2009, 06:13 AM |

As your first 3D game- it's pretty good. It's not glitchy, the intro is awesome, and the style is cool. As a game itself, it's... meh. The platforming is really simple and functional, the way the text is presented is neat, but the game is just overly simple, the checkpoints are too far, and the colors blend in too much. I'd consider it about on par with Mega Block Man, so nice job, and you've done a great job for your first 3D game
By the way, Pinpickle, there's a download link above the picture. |

game is good but 2 things:
1. jumping sound doesn't fit overall feeling. at all. 2. turret bullets (and generic moving balls) use too many polygons and cause fps decrease on levels containing them. |

I saw this as an 'upcoming game' on you blog. I'm glad to see you finished it. I will write as I play.
thought by thought: QUOTE (my mind) hmm... looks artsy... dang... it changed my res -.- jumping is kind of loud.. He's lost? I'm lost oh great its a maze game >_< dang I died this review is becoming negative. I have to start all over?! I fell again... I'm never moving the camera! when I jump over a gap my shadow is still there! Oh look its Andrew! Hi Andrew! At this point I got worse and worse.. I never finished the game... the camera threw me off too much. I liked the music and the characters and story was semi interesting. I have a feeling it would have got a lot better if I had kept at it. I will try again in a bit. I need to go finish some homework. I will comment again |

@ Pinpickle: I hope you enjoy it when you get to play it.
@wa1do_13: Thanks, man. 3D's been something I've been wanting to do for a while, so I'm glad I finally got this out. I'm still pretty new to the concept, so I aimed to make just a simple platformer. I'm sure if I ever try it again, it'll work out a lot better. @ vadim647: I tried to keep the fps as high as possible, but those levels seemed to make it drop a lot. I tried to counter that by adding alternate areas for people to go to. Thanls for playing it. @zachTaylor: That's unfortunate. I may add a button that makes it so the camera goes back to a set position if I get more complaints. Also, there are save points throughout the game (the first one is in the room just after the man who is lost. You turn left and there is a square with a 'S' on it). I hope you have better luck next time. |

I made it!
Well... I expected more epic ending. I mean, it's smooth and such.. but that wasn't what I expected after playing so long. |

Mondo angency and bright colours flavored graphic style.
Mmm,tastey. Music was nice and fitting,if not slightly repetitive after a bit. And game play was kind of boring and unforgiving. Although it did have a nice feel,it's not great in the gameplay area. But anyways i can't help liking it because of the graphics, they are very very nice. |

@ vadim647: Thanks, I figured the ending was fitting, but I guess it's a matter of personal opinion.
@ fawful: I've noticed you make a lot of nice graphical work, so that's a pretty nice compliment. Thanks man. |

I just updated the game. The camera is fixed and there's a new save point.
Check the first post for details. Hey, your game got on Bytejacker! Sweet! Congrats, I voted for you Thanks man. The other games on there were pretty good, so I don't think I have much of a chance. |

Thanks man, this game's been featured on a few sites I've noticed. Turns out I'm popular in Eastern Europe.

I like this game. It has a nice colorful background that goes along with the 3d graphics of the game. The music fits well with the game. You also did a nice job with the text. The Gameplay was okay. I say okay because it just seemed a bit basic. You know, jump on platforms, avoid spikes, ect. I like the new version because the camera works a lot better. This game gets a thumbs up from me(partly because I don't think I can even make 3D games) because even though this is your first 3-dimensional game, you made it really well.
Good Job! |

Hey this is pretty cool. The look of the game is very polished and stylized. Having to manipulate the camera so much really slows down the gameplay, but overall its very well made.

Hey this is a good game especially for someone that is venturing into 3d for the first time, and I'm looking forward to seeing more stuff from you. I mean there are obviously bad points about the game but then that happens with anything at first

Meh... That was kind of disapointing. It looks very nice, and I suspect it has a very deep story, but gameplay is just a basic 3D-platformer where you have to rotate the camera manually (never ever a good thing). It bored me. I was expecting a really artistic thing, kind of like Mr. Jones' Dream. But the gameplay... The controls...
