Rectangular Demolition eXplosive

I'm proud to present a game by Blaat and me. We made this game for a competition on the Dutch GMC.

In this game you have control of a bomb. With this bomb you have to destroy a target in each of the 28 challenging levels. This sounds easy but first you have to find a way to the target. Use the power of the bomb to destroy walls and make yourself a way to the target.

Fun game! I loved the idea, but the platform engine was really 2D dimensional.
I also really liked the graphic style. Simple and blocky but it all runs nicely together.

Decent job with the water too, too bad it wasn't smoother.

I'm proud to pronounce that we just won the 18th GM competition on the Dutch gmc with this game It got a average score of 8.9 in the categories: gameplay, originality, presentation and finishing off.

Yea, really nice game and congratulations for your victory. It feels that this is a new concept for a game which is good because new ideas are always welcome. The gameplay felt really smooth and the game engine was well done.
