I think that Phantom107 has been working on something like that. You should PM him to just talk about it. I'm guessing that he canceled the project, or hasn't been able to finish it.

Yes, that is true. But I'm not working on it any longer. I made a fully working bone-editor, so you can place and link bones to form a skeleton. However, I quit eventually because when I began to develop the actual animation editor, I encountered some heavy problems which I had no idea how to solve.

I've uploaded 2 images so you can see how it looked:

I never say never, but first I want to create a bone and skeleton based, dynamic animation system, similar to MoveNow, with the possibility of adding unlimited number of bones with unlimited types of hierarchy.
Basically this is what I am working on.

He screwed up with the bone orientation and proposed a rewrite; alas, he never finished it and moved on to U3D.

Thanks for uploading your tools. And in open source too!!
Move Now is good, but I don't like that you can add or delete bones, so I started on an animation program a few weks ago. Your program will propably be better tho

Tween Studio Pro is in progress. I managed to find a way of storing unlimited number of objects within a sequence, and storing unlimited sequences within an animation file. It also stores the textures, so the final file contains all resources and animation data. I will of course release the handler methods (GML) as well. There will be only a few functions which handle the animation from loading to drawing. ;)

I'm excited and impressed. :)

Some (actually one certain member) have complained about the slowness of using multiple humanoid models in Movenow!. I'm delighted to hear that your Tween Studio Pro is being worked on, as custom sceletons make the animation work significantly more efficient (people typically don't need to animate the character's bodyparts all the way from legs to buttcheecks). I'm also very delighted that the promise comes from you, 'cause I know we don't get let down now. :)

Following on from above, Phantom left me with the source of his animation software and I fixed the major bug. Let the competition begin, alas I'm sure we will win ;)

PS: PM me for beta.

These are fan-frickin-tastic! I'd been hoping (seemingly in vain) for an improved version of MoveNow for a long time!

Thanks, Percsich!

Hey percsich,
is there a new documentation for Silent Move ?
If so, then where is it ? All the new control are confusing.
However, I liked the weapon support. Brilliantly done !

"Warped" was particularly helpful, and I was able to get a constant 150-200 FPS running it.

Why would you say you made it? :D I made it.

He does that alot.
He took my FPS engine, added a health pack, and redistributed it as "FPS HEALTH PACK EXAMPLE".
