And then he humbly posted all his known work open source on the edge of the GMC. :) :)

Your work is truly something that only can be respected for. Let's take e.g. Marzipan™ and Movenow!™, which are also in my frequent use, the latter is the only considerable and easy humanoid animation solution for GM and the first is simply amazing in all its functions. Those, to just name a few, are work that in theory could have been done by certain other people as well, but I really doubt that they would have ever been passioned enough to make the big effort of developing the concepts as far as you have.

I owe you a huge thank you. The game I'm working on would have ended up as a total failure without the aid of your tools. And I'm no noob.

do me a favor,
seeing as you want to start making stucc with GM again,
could you make a 3D modeling program with multi-threading
like MCGM, (model creator for gamemaker, in the tools and apps forum)
MC is good but it runs realy slow at times when modifying and using normals

well the reason why I mentioned MCGM is because it has quite a unique feature where it changes your 3D model into a 2D rotating sprite strip, allowing for 3D graphics in 2D games.
it also creates aliased alphas for them aswell,
do you think that using a sprite showing views of the model (top, right, left, bottom, front, back) that it could be textured accordingly,
to explain myself better
it would be realy cool if you could make a 2D strip showing all those views, then you edit them in paint and etc and taking the images back in after being edited the program would create a texture bmp and show map the model accordingly.
do you think that would be possible??
I already know that it would take a GM genius but you do seem pretty ... genius so theres a sugestion.

I never say never, but first I want to create a bone and skeleton based, dynamic animation system, similar to MoveNow, with the possibility of adding unlimited number of bones with unlimited types of hierarchy.
Basically this is what I am working on.

I think that Phantom107 has been working on something like that. You should PM him to just talk about it. I'm guessing that he canceled the project, or hasn't been able to finish it.

If you're planning on doing bones, here's a couple of topics of interest:

Forward Kinematics
Inverse Kinematics (an animator's dream!)

Wow, welcome back to the forum percsich.hu! I'm glad to see that you've posted your projects here, and all editable at that. Consider me highly impressed!

There have been a few things I've wanted to see get fixed in Marzipan over the last year or so. I can't remember of the top of my head, but I'll play around with the program soon and if anything comes to me, I'll post it here.

Thanks for putting your projects back on the forum though - I've been trying my best to recommend them when possible, and I have been downloading and using Marzipan for just about every 3D project I've worked on. It's been a lot of help! :D

Hey, look who is back! It is Mr. Zoltan Percsich, I am very very happy you are now back. And you are even releasing the sources of these great projects, which you had removed from the forums. They are also so useful and such, thank you very much. Good luck!
