What is Example Maker?
Example maker is a program which helps beginners on game maker.

How could this help me?
Well if you are a beginner to game maker or you know one , then refer to this program to get an example made for you , such as a 2d platform example or an online pacman engine.
How do i use it?
It is very simple , you download the program from the link below then you register for free then click on the request tab and request an example. for more information see here

oh , ok , in example maker you request an example , then i make it and publish it on this program so you can download it , so its to help people with game maker really.

Why should YOU be the one to make the example? You haven't even released any examples on the GMC. In fact, just about every one of your topics has been in Novice Q&A. Why not make a system where everyone can ask for and post examples? Then this would be a good idea. Think about it: all this really does is cut out having to go to the GMC, which only takes a few seconds, and is probably a lot faster than the speed at which your program will download the example.

well the examples arn't on gmc there on my yoyogames account , and i've been working on this program for ages now , and it is a good idea making people be able to upload there own examples , and i might implent that soon , but as i said all my examples that i made before are on the yyg account , and i wanted to make it easier for me to give examples that people acctually need and i have been working with game maker for ages now so im pretty good at programming now so i can give basicly all the examples people want , so it can help more people.

the only problem with your idea is that i would need a virus scanner or something like that on the program , which i don't know how to do.

because it makes it easier for me to publish public examples and make it easy for people to download the examples on a program , and the program is easily updatable and customizable, when the website is not.

Not bad atall The examples aren't really helpfull to an experienced user like myself, but the program is perfectly functional and I can see it would help lots of newer members. I'd suggest improving the graphics used in examples -even if you can't sprite you could still use gamemaker's stock graphics and it would make them look nicer. Now what you need is to request donations of popular examples so they can be put into your program. also i think information such as reg/unreg or gamemaker version would be helpfull.

I tryed to register and it said: Name contains invalid characters. use only a-z and 0-9 NO SPACES!, I followed the instructions, why does it say that?

well you can only have 1234567890qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm no spaces or - symbols. you may have put an invalid symbol in. try again and if it happens again , give me your user name and i will see what the problem is.
