/Description\

Well I had an idea just playing with GM and I made a life simulator. Now I'm fairly knew to GM and this only consists of Drag & Drop elements. This Simulator is based on chance actually, It only looks like a simulator to the naked untrained eye. For you more experienced GM Users, you'll know what I did right off the bat. Note this is still a WIP. I'm still going to add some more elements and what not.

/Final Thoughts\

Have any ideas? PM me some of your ideas and I'll see if i cant make room for them in the simulator. Credit given of course. Thanks everyone.

Off to a good start. I suggest adding some interactivity with the user now. Add the ability for the user to drop more viruses or cells into the world. Also, you may try randomizing the direction and speed of the cells by a small amount rather than, what appears to be, randomly moving their relative-x/y positions. Try using a timer for say, 1 second, and each second they may randomly change their relative-direction by a few degrees.

Thanks for the comments!

They change direction every step actually, and the viruses are randomly generated and never exceed 10 at a time. I'm going to make green triangles that speed up evolution into a whole new species. By the way, I forgot to mention that there is a 1/10000 chance of total extinction every step, though I've never had it happen to me yet. The interactivity is a great idea though I'm not sure how to go upon doing that. [with D&D and all]

When I first stumbled across GM I spent ages making things like this in D&D, eventually gave up when they got waaaay too laggy, combination of ineffecient GM, inefficient D&D/systems, and simply being too amibtious, I'd send you the files but I don't have them anymore....good luck though, you can get pretty fancy simulators...I always went for evolution type stuff....I seem to remember the best results everything was simply one sort of parent object and then each instance would with a random chance change one or another of a crap load of variables...all I got was a load of coloured dots running around but it was good for me being able to work out what was going on....tended to end up with them dividing pretty firmly into one dominant plantish thing, one dominant species which ate that, and then one final predator on top....I guess I should have used varied and maybe varying terrain.

I'll be keeping an eye on this project anyways, good luck ;)
