I try to add the icon to my game but it keeps saying only 32x32, single icons are supported.
And each icon I try is 32x32

It probably has multiple images inside the file which Game Maker doesn't like. Send me the icon and I will fix it for you so that it stores only one image.

You can also look for LiquidIcon in google (it´s free) and then use that, as the icons it creates work perfectly with GM...
