after i use antidec2 on my gm8 exes. when i run it it gives error saying the file data or something is corrupted. why??

I have a problem with using multiple icon sizes (16x16, 32x32, 64x64 ...)
when using anti-decompiler is corrupting the executable and it does not work.

I created executable, applied Anti-Decompiler. It ran fine. I then applied the compressor. It still ran fine.

kind of, yea it works, if your icon is a single icon and not multiple sizes, which im not sure why an icon could corrupt the whole executable.. also theres other things iv noticed where sometimes my games wont work with this. but for the most part yeah it should work.

Something I stumbled across: if you include a large sprite in your game, larger than 2200x2200, the decompiler freezes halfway through. I don't know if this affects only GM8 games, or all versions. It happened to me while testing the decompiler against my game.

About the bug with the icon, does not work with me, I realized it's because one of the icons have the size 256x256, removing this icon from the group of icons, the anti-decompiler does not corrupt the executable.

Game maker 8.0 , the created AntiDec.exe crashes at startup saying the application's config is not correct... :(
Is there a list of know incompatibilities and things that makes the Anti decompiler bug ? Any advices ? ( if it doesnt work, i still have hope that the Obfuscator works )

YYG is updating GM too often for him to continue updating. Almost probably. Haven't tested it though. So i can't know for sure.

It gives an error ' Failed to load game data. File seems corrupted '

In the first post, it clearly states this only works for converted GM 6.1 games, GM 7.0 games, and GM 8.0 games. Game Maker 8.1 is updated at the drop of a hat, so keeping the Anti-Decompiler updated was a futile effort.

Would be nice if this could be updated again...
Guess YY wont update GM 8.1 as frequently further since they are having to concentrate on GM Studio.

Amazing work in this though! Guess it's the best anti-decompiler.

I used this program to protect my game, but now I lost my source code. Is there a way to revert the effects of this program?

The whole point of this program is to disallow getting the source code from executables. If there was a way to undo the effects, this program would be useless.

One does not simply undo obfuscation. The original variable and resource names are gone forever.

Undo the anti-decompiler? Then it would be useless, wouldn't it?
