Another Sonic Engine Gm7 Registered! (gmk+exe)

Well, another Sonic engine enters the market xD
It's also at sfghq and scdti.
It's more or less 90 % done, still to add the last and more difficult gimmicks.

Complete list of features:
-Homming Attack
-Special rings for lightdash.
-Ceiling Landing
-Gringding with layering
-Sonic Unleashed style boost
-Moving platforms (99,99 % done)
-Balancing at falling edges
-Genesis shields with their habilities.
-Breakable walls.
-Real collisions with spikes.
-Animation for stage finish
-Pipes
-View lock system for bosses and cinematics
-Optimized checkpoint system
-Script management for actions that need largue ifs. Very usefull ^^


PD No backward homming attack!!!!
PD2 Still lack of SFX!!!!

More or less, this is the source code of my next fangame, and step by step, the features are increasing a lot.
With more players, a working corckscrew and flippers, i think this will turn in the most complete engine ever (complete, not better) so
have fun guys and tell me any bug you find.

ENGINE CREDITS:
Damizean -For engine base
Rougeyoshi -For Sonic 3 shields + sprites + HUD + ceiling landing
Alex Z -For sprites
Chaos Rush -For compiling the original Revival Engine.
SPK -For making the rest of stuff



EDIT:

To fix the weird movement in horizontal platforms, find the objMoving parent, and put the "end step" code in "step". And platforms will be working 100% well

I'm suprised people havn't commented yet. This engine is great. A few problems. The game lags when you defeat enemies and never stops, it gets wose and worse. The boost bar can be any length, need to fix that, simple I'm sure. You can change to your left and right facing sprite while your on a rail.

Just a few minor problems/glitches I found.

PD Added camera handling from sonic dash engine now the movement sensation
does not seem as static as before

Actually, I found out what caused the lag. It was all the objects. I put in the objDeactivate and everything was perfect. The only problem was that it interfered with the moving platforms but that can be fixed by incresing the deactivation region.

You can also die in the game by rinning off the left or right side of the stage, you can also die by going higher than the room height. I don't know exactly where your sonic dieing code is. Theres a lot of code to sort through. ^_^

Yeah but it's a lot slower and uses different coding on some things.

it uses different coding on very little things near unnoticable and it runs just as quick maybe een faster thang GM6 + extension ROCK!
lol besides the point,

this is an amazing piece of work and I am stunned at its glory!
though sonic games are a rather generic subject, this is the most amazing sonic engine I have ever come across,
I found only one bug and that is when i hit the spring to go up to the breakable walls the walls didn't break,
try making it so that spin dash can destroy the walls also, try making it so that jumping or rolling or going realy fast into the P-up boxes activates them rather than the tap of them.

Well...GM7 is more powerfull than GM6 so it needs a more powerfull PC, but we are talking about a very small difference.
Erm...thanks bombshell xD thats just what I want to, create an engine good enough to be in a big ammount of sonic fan games xD
I'm glad to see i'm in the right way.
Well and for the matter of breakable walls, I cant make an engine that all people likes everything. things like you've said i think it' depends of each programmer and what he wants.

PD I was 4 days in holidays, so i couldn't rply before

Oh, this engine is just wonderful! :) But the thing is, I have game maker 6 registered, but not game maker 7 registered.....

Do you think you can upload this in a Game Maker 6 file????? PLEASE?!?!?!?!?! :)

The engine is fantastic! I was wandering, how do i make a level, then pick it in the menu, and then once the level is complete, unlock and move on the the next one? If you dont get then, i basically want this; To be able to pick an Act from the menu. Once i complete the Act, i can move on the the next one.
