What I want is basically, how do i get my animated enemy sprite to walk around, switch to the correct facing direction sprite, and stop at collisions, all while not moving around like a jerky and stupid creature. I want the enemy to be able to walk around the room, and stop at random moments as well. I will use the same method for NPC's as well.
Any help is appreciated.
Also, I am unregistered, so that is important.
