Just start with a spell check and use consistent font. That should be the basis for your next magazine.

I did use a consistent font. The pdf conversion changed the font type. Anyhow. Spell check and human spell checkers failed.

Anyhow issue 3 will include the .doc and .pdf file. Also I have people who claim to help me with my design, hopefully they pull through.

In regards to PDF, most purchased computers now a days come with Adobe Acrobat Reader pre-installed, so if you are aiming for a broad market share, PDF is the way to go. That being said, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (Firefox viewer) isn't slow for me at all.

And hardcoregamer, stop soliciting your game, which has no value to this topic, seeing as though it is about a magazine.

No offense but do you have any proof that 99% of GM population is even using original GM in the first place? Since I am a graphics designer I have to purchase these softwares (Adobe keeps sending offers just to make sure 'they are watching' ), but since most GM users are minors (hey, everyone agrees with this 'fact') let me know how exactly these people happen to use all those high end apps even most of us (grown-ups) can't afford.

BTW, Adobe Reader 9 is awesome if your display card isn't ****. If it isn't and you STILL somehow manage to make AR9 crawl, well..


PS: hardcoregamer, you really need to stop admitting such stuff. Learn from others. The rule over internet is that if you don't say anything about cracking any software, everyone will assume you are actually purchasing everything out there. The moment you admit to cracking softwares, every kid out in the radius of your post will start referring to you as 'OMG ILLEGAL TEH WAREZ GUYZZ' in every second post.

Also, sorry I haven't read this magazine. My opinion of online 'mags' isn't very high so I don't waste time reading any.

I said that I hate PDF and thus have no reader for PDF, fool. It's a worthless file format and there is no reason to download a program for the sole reason of viewing things made in the format, when they can just upload it in a different format.

As much as I hate to side with Hardcoregamer, stop whining. PDF is not a "worthless file format" when it's being used by pretty much every hardware & software manufacturer for their user manuals. It's used for a lot of e-zines. Scanned official documents? PDF. And much more I can't bother to list.

Do you honestly expect to read an online magazine without a PDF reader, an essential piece of software in modern internet? If you hate Acrobat's bulk, get Foxit.

(not that you lose a lot by not reading this magazine)

For some reason I can't wait for the next issue. These are just way too funny.

Rereading that article on the George Bush game, however, I came across the phrase "exposes the corrupt media" in the list of things that were bad about it. Isn't that a good thing? And how exactly does the game do this anyway?
