What is Nation Of Design?
Nation Of Design is a team of artists that create graphic requests for you. These are usually logos, forum signatures, avatars, and other text-based things, but we are also open to other art requests (however they may not be done nicely or in a timely manner yet, as we are still gathering up sprite artists)

How do I request an artwork?
Simply post in this thread with the following information filled out:

TEXT: <Exactly what it needs to say. Ex: "Blue Fantasy">

COLORS: <What should the color scheme be? Ex: "Blue's and greens, a bit of purple perhaps.">

DESCRIBE: <Describe what you want it to look like. Ex: "I want the text to be in front of a faded ice-crystal thing, with swirls coming out of it. I want the text to be 3-d looking and shining.">

SIZE: <How big in pixels it needs to be. Ex: "500 x 100 pixels.">

STYLE(optional): <How you want it to be styled. Stay away from vauge words like "cartoony". Ex: "Cold (icy), sharp, dangerous.">

EMAIL: <This is how we notify you of completion. If you don't feel safe posting it publicly, PM this user or send an email to nationofdesign@yahoo.com>

And post it. Then the team will work on your logo. Unfortunately this is not first-come-first-serve, the logos are set up in a non-linear way, like a grid rather than a stack. Some requests will be finished faster than others. To ensure completion, pick something you think will actually look good and one that isn't impossible. We will only give you your logo after the artist community thinks it is ready.


To ensure the highest quality of your logo you may want to join the NOD forums (entirely optional) so that you may oversee it's progress and suggest improvements.

Can I join you guys?
Of course! If you want to make graphics with us, just go to the forum ( nationofdesign.com ) and sign up. There are plenty of directions to follow, just look around and you'll fit in just fine. We always need artists.

TEXT: there should be PINPICKLE PRODUCTIONS in a bubbly font. So bubble letters

COLORS: Letters, should be blue, pickle green and background, what looks good to you!

DESCRIBE: Well, there should be a pickle with a pin going through it and something in the background, something nice.

SIZE: Same size as the one in my siggy

Hm... looks nice. Well, I have a request. I gave it to somone else but they haven't even been on for a few days so I will try here. Hope you don't mind.

Text: Cosmic Racers

Colors:Blue's, Red's, Black, and White.

Describe: I want the text to be metalic and jagged near the top of the image. There should be some sort of hover craft spinning out in the middle of a futuristic space-city. There should be a rocket coming towards him, and he should have a gatling gun mounted on the top of his hood. (I would give more description, but I believe you would probably come up with something better than I have pictured) Oh yeah, it should be fully 3D looking and as realistic as possible.

Size- 500x500 if you can, if that is too large I will take 300x300. (But prefer larger)

Style- It should be futuristic and shiny. Lots of detail, and practicaly everything (encluding the scenery) should be made of metal.

If you could do this, that would be amazing! Also, how long do you think it would take?

TEXT: "Reptilian Productions"

COLORS: The scheme should primarily focus on the color green. Any other color choices are up to you, really.

DESCRIBE: I want the text to have a sort of "reptile-like" feel to it. Perhaps a little rough I'm not entirely set on a 3-D style, but some sort of effect that makes the text stand out a bit would be fine.

SIZE: 640 (Height) and 480 (Width)

STYLE(optional): I would like the logo to have a "forest, jungle, etc." style to it. A scaly reptilian texture placed somewhere in the logo would be great.

Thanks for taking care of a queue, flare. (Yes, [logo] members can queue people, but only I or another staff member (there aren't any yet) can return a logo to you)

Anyway, a new artist of ours, Hexenritter just finished two of our logos. They will be emailed to the requesters, but an example of each will be posted here.
You may have to size em down...

I just want you all to understand that I am completely satisfied with the work done here.
My logo looks outstanding! I seriously recommend this team to anyone in need of logos, designs, etc.
In fact, I was curious as to how you would pull off Scyler_27's request, but you look like you were able to do it! I'm sure he is satisfied too.
