Finished. 100 Game Maker games in 10 minutes. It's intended to be used as an example of all the great games that Game Maker has produced.

Note that this is NOT a top 100 video. It's not about what the "best" Game Maker games are. I tried to choose good games, and take a lot of recommendation from folks who have played a lot of Game Maker games, so it will include a lot of good games, but it's not a "best" list, it's simply the games I like. It's also partially based on which games look good in video format and which games show off what the Game Maker is capable of.

To get the exact name of a game from the video, just take its time (in seconds) and divide by six, that will be its position on the list above. For instance, the third game goes between 0:12 and 0:18, each game is shown for exactly 6 seconds. I'll add in more precise time signatures, and links to each game, later.

Special thanks to: Tim W, Clysm, YoMamasMama, and the rest of the Eo community for recommending games for the list and for recommending music to use. The first music track is a NES-soundchip version of a song from Perfect Cherry Blossom, the second music track was composed by YoMamasMama, the third and fourth music tracks were composed by Long Dao for my unreleased game Saturated Dreamers.

Hey this sounds cool, but will it at least include possibly the top 10 or 20 game maker games?(chossen by you or others).
I'll probably definatly take a look at it when its finished. BTW you could probably include snapshots of some games that didn't get included into the video. Just a sugestion.

I'm against the idea of a "top N" list, since I don't think such things can be very objective. It's just intended to be good games in no particular order.

That's a terrific video. It would probably make a good P.R. tool for Game Maker. It shows off a lot of terrific games.

What might be fun is to not include the names of the game in-topic, and see how peoples memories are.

I wasn't really sugesting you put them in any particular order, only that you maybe include the top n best games into the 100 somewere. But you don't have to listen to me, its your video after all. I'll probably still watch it.

That's a good idea, but if I did that I'd probably get 100s of PMs asking me which game something is due to wanting to try it out. Maybe I could include them as off-site however, and just include a link to the list...

Wow, these bring back memories of when I first found out about gamemaker and played the game off the old site. Specific ones such as Vivid Conceptions and Ac!dbomb come to mind. (back when Mr. Chubigans was a very common term around me and my friends)

I think Coaster Rider, [Insert game by 2D Cube here], The Hanrahan Project, and The Cleaner (I believe that's what it was called) ought to be in here ^^ What you have so far is great, though.

I don't know if this is on your list at the moment, but Valdis Story is, in my opinion worthy of being on your 100 list.

It's a great video, for sure. I'm really fond of the music, it reminds me of the old F-Zero games.

I would include Valdis Story if it were completed, but I don't want to include unfinished / WIP games, because then the clip wouldn't be representative of the finished game.
