Here's a good topdown engine I've come up with. As the title description says, I did not make the ai, but I slightly edited it to work with the engine.
I don't even know where I got this ai, it's been so long since I've even seen this engine.

Features:
  • 4 weapon types (handgun, rifle, shotgun, and grenade)
  • recoil depending upon each weapon
  • different bullet speeds
  • reloading
  • ammo, max ammo, and clips
  • 2 ai types (guards and patrols)
  • good collsion system
Controls:
  • W - up
  • A - left
  • S - down
  • D - right
  • R - reload
  • 1 - handgun
  • 2 - rifle
  • 3 - shotgun
  • 4 - grenade
  • left mouse button - shoot

Credits:
No, I do not need credit. To be honest, I don't want any part of this engine once it's in your hands.
Just go wild on it...or not and change the graphics and release it as your own game.

this is great and alot of help but im having one problem

i like the path finding, but i cannot seem to make monsters work
im trying to have monsters that get close enough to touch the player...

any help would be nice

lol no. he remembers it because I originally started this engine for a SodaHertz game. Brainware and I used to be SodaHertz.

I like this engine! I'm having problems with figuring out how to modify weapons, or how to make more kinds of weapons with this engine. I am having a lot of fun creating new kinds of enemies! I made a nice boss battle that spawns snipers!
