Leviathan
Description Play as a sea monster and fight the army: Crash into airplanes, ships and subs (while avoiding bombs, mines, missiles and torpedo's) for massive damage! There is just one level, cartoony graphics, and a high score list. It's nothing more but I hope you enjoy it. I'm not playing this if it's 10 mb. Sorry.
Maybe you could make the file size less? This post has been edited by gamewizkid: Aug 9 2008, 03:28 PM |

It's okay. Nothing I would play more than once or twice unfortunately, although the graphics are quite nice, and I like the splash effects. Maybe if you added some unlockables or some sort of incentive to do well, then I would play this a bit more.

Great game 2DCube, but nothing can ever match up to Death Worm sorry. I loved the cycle of the monster getting bigger, and the cartoon sprites were great.

I'm just glad it's done to be honest Great game 2DCube, but nothing can ever match up to Death Worm sorry. I loved the cycle of the monster getting bigger, and the cartoon sprites were great. 48,700 -> Me Cool! Yeah Death Worm is probably better, but I think my game has a nice twist. By the way, it plays great with headphones on, because all the sounds in the game are panned according to where it happens (so you hear at which side the bombs drop into the water for example). Thanks for the replies everyone. |

Very nice and smooth! I like how the actual body of the monster can get hurt, which, in my opinion, was a minor flaw of Death Worm. Why do the sections of the monster come apart when you fly in the air?
I personally do not like the bouncing off of the walls and floor; I would make it just stop when you hit them. Also, about the music. If you had the original WAV (don't do this from mp3), you could convert to OGG Vorbis, and have it 1.82 MB instead of 7.29. Now, that was at Audacity's lowest quality setting (and I converted it from mp3), and there was some quality loss, but I'm sure if you converted from WAV and used even a higher quality setting, the filesize would still be much smaller, with negligible quality loss. OGG files in general compress much better, with much less loss. Nice game, though! ~ Theta Games This post has been edited by thetagames: Aug 9 2008, 07:23 PM |

It's okay, but really doesn't live up to your other stuff. Still, 9/10.(The problem is that your other stuff is too great to live up to lol)

i liked it
though i must admit surviving as long as you would in deathworm is much harder couldve used some fixing like the fact i could fly through the air get to the ceiling by bouncing on the wall bombs are hard to avoid when youre HUGE(make damage to the body much less than it would do to the head) other stuff like that, overall the game still looks and plays polished 8/10 This post has been edited by Explicit: Aug 9 2008, 08:02 PM |

It's pretty good.
I liked the "bouncing", and loved the fact I could use the boost to further my "flying worm" trick from Deathworm - I used to use it to scoop up food while avoiding mines (shallow take off angle, hight speed, then hold the direction away from the floor) As for Explicit's point, I think damage should decrease from mines, or similar things, as you get larger, but you get occasional "super weapons". (Not all weapons should decrease in power, and not to the head either) A couple of nice additions would be fishing boats (steal the crates if you're too slow) harpoon boats (fire electric harpoons, which stun you for a moment) and oil tankers. (Once hit they release oil to float on the surface, which slows you down/poisons you, and can be set on fire to hurt anything that goes through it.) As always, your artwork is perfect for the tone of the game. However, it reminds me too much of Spore, so I find mysef wishing I could add extra parts to the creature. |

It’s simple and easy to play, but gets a bit boring too soon.
Could add some power-ups and different enemies? |

Nice game! I like the graphics and the gameplay was equally as good. This game could have been a lot better with more stuff: , like powerups, Other worms (helpers), hiding places, maybe day and night system?
Anyway, good game overall. -orange08 |

Not a bad game, and it's quite addicting... Local online highscores huh? It's funny how it tries to trick you with a "glitch" and those other names.

Very nice. Nicely polished, as well.
Held my attention for longer than most GM games. -PF |
