New Contest

The top three people with the coolest designs will have there character on the title screen.

Hey everyone im starting a new game sort-of like super smash bros. Its going to have a story mode, multiplayer mode, and a quick-play mode where you fight against an AI. So, any good fighting game needs lots of cool characters to battle each other with right and thats were you come in. Im not that bad of a spriter but I'm also not that creative so i need your help. In my game all the characters are part-human and part-animal.

These are the requirements:
Your character must be 64x96 or smaller
Must NOT be copyrighted
Drawn by you
Optional: front and side views

If you want to take a shot at animating your character here are some possible moves-

3 Light Punches
1 Heavy Punch
1 Ducking punch
1 Light kick
1 Heavy kick
1 Ducking kick
1 Air light attack
1 Air Heavy attack
1 Ranged attack
1 Ranged heavy attack
1 Special attack
1 Dodge
1 Block

Don't worry if your not the best artist all accepted work will be redrawn by me
Credit will be given with the name of the character next to it

Interesting choice of game. I could help but just no doing animals or humans (or aliens and monsters). I suck at them. I can do anything else.

Well that would work, there are going to be tons of differents weapons and items to use during battle so if you could draw some of those that would be great.

Uh i would like martial art style for the useable characters but the enemies can use guns and all sorts of weapons.
Hmm size I'm not sure 48 x 48 maybe smaller, whatever you think would fit best.

Those are awesome thanks alot. In case anyone wanted to see the final versions and how you will be creditted here you go. I still need more everyone.

Thats pretty good, I think i am gonna use that as an enemy

I made it really fast but if you want to use it you could make it an easter egg character
