Mario Kart 64
Legend of Zelda: OoT
Legend of Zelda: LttP
Final Fantasy X
Dynasty Warriors 3

These games have taken up more hours of my life than i'd care to admit

Also in my opinion, if you've listed Call Of Duty 4 or MW2, you need to get out a bit more.

Same here, I spent so much time on that game... I will listen to the theme music online once and awhile for fun. :D Did you enjoy Banjo-Tooie? I love this one as well.
Half-Life was a big game for me. It was one of the first PC games other than Carnivores and Alien Vs. Predator that I got into deeply. Half-Life 2 made my jaw drop when it came out. It was great. :D

Oh yeah, I loved Banjo-Tooie too. It was probably a better game, but I don't have as many great memories with it (being that I was a little more accustomed to video games at that point).

Then you're not making an arguement.
My entire point is that it isn't called "Guitar hero four" but it has an actual name.

Yes, but it is also referred to as Guitar Hero IV/Four.

I don't care.

If you're not arguing against my point then there is nothing more to be said.

EDIT: Speaking of Banjo-Tooie, I happen to love it over a thousand times more than the first one, just because of multiplayer.

I have four brothers, we were all pretty young when we got it. We had tons of multi-playing action.

Oh I completely forgot about it's multiplayer! I had great memories with friends playing that. Probably the best multiplayer game on the N64 in my opinion.

5-Assassins Creed - Xbox360 - I loved the open-worldness of this game and the hugeness of the cities. It was like an open-world prince of persia. Cant wait to get the 2nd creed.

4-Skies of Arcadia - Dreamcast/Gamecube - Best RPG ever. Not too simple, not too complicated, great story.

3-Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie - N64 - My favorite childhood memory. I love Rares sense of humor, and theres nothin much like waddlin a bear around on a birds back...

2-Resident Evil 4/5 - Gamecube/Wii/Xbox360 - I hated any game with guns before I played RE4. RE5 is basically the same game in a different setting with coop.. which was huge fun for me and my girlfriend.

1-Zelda: Wind Waker - Gamecube - I loved this adventure, and although the story was linear, the open world on the ocean was awesome.

Other sweet games:
N64 - Harvest Moon64, Glover, Jet Force Gemini, Super Mario64, Mario Party 1
Gamecube - Eternal Darkness, Starfox: Dinosaur Planet, Prince of Persia Trilogy, Harvest Moon: MM
Wii - Harvest Moon, ToT, Dead Rising
Xbox 360 - COD4, Guitar Hero:Metallica, Viva Pinata

Banjo and Kazooie
On of my favorites to.

That game defined a huge part of my childhood. To this day, no game can match the initial feeling of joy I had when I first turned it on and began exploring it's world. I played the game again recently (after about 10 years), and the sounds and music brought me back to my childhood in a way nothing else ever could. The feelings of nostalgia were so strong that I almost had to shut the game off.

I feel the same way. Super Mario 64 was my first gaming experience, but once I got Banjo Kazooie, I got stuck on gaming. I recently played through the entire game about a year ago (Got every last note and jiggy! Oh yea)
You know what sucks about Tooie though?
The friggin second race with Canary Mary. I was always stuck at 89 jiggies because of that retarded bird.

I never understood why people say this is `the hardest thing ever,' (paraphrased perhaps) but then again I've always been somewhat good at button mashing. :)

Though, me talking about button mashing reminds me of Mario Party..I think 2, either 2 or 3. There is one game where you have to wind up a shyguy by pressing A and B at the same time a lot and see how far it goes compared to everyone elses, and the computers always win.

They like, always win. Even on easy.

Yea, there were a lot of minigames in Mario Party 1 which had you spin the control stick in a circle as fast as you could. This gave you blisters and it ruined all of my N64 controller joysticks.

Has anyone played Mario Party 8? I laugh when my girlfriend always wins the minigame where you have to shake the soda can up and down as fast as possible :) Its kind of an akward minigame to begin with, if you know what I mean..

Hahaha, yeah I win at that game every time, and people always make jokes about certain activities that I participate in.

I do like a lot of the games I make but that doesn't mean that they are all my favorites.

5. Pokemon Platinum: I am definitely a pokemon fan but I have more favorite games. I like the gameplay and the pokemon pictures. I was so excited to find out that Platinum had a battle frontier just like emerald, I was waiting so long for that. I have an AR and I most commonly used it on this game (once I had already beaten it).

4. EXP Fantasy 2: EXPerience the darkness: This game I did make and I am proud of it's progress. It is (in my opinion) the best game I have made so far. It's the most advanced, almost hasa storyline, is the sequal to the first game I ever made and is 100x better. I just had to add it to the list.

3. Pokemon Rumble: Another pokemon game. I don't actually have it but I playedthe demo over and over and over again and I'm hoping I will get some Wii Points on christmas so that I can buy it.

2. Bloons Tower Defense 4: Some people in my family showed it to me one day and I instantly made it a favorite. Way better than the other three BTD games and has way more features. I used to think BTD 3 was the best until I found BTD 4. The same thing might happen upon the release of BTD 5 (if there will be one) and this place will be replaced with it.

1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl: my all time favorite game. I like everything about it: the graphics, the gameplay, the story, everthing. I have unlocked every character and beaten all star mode (I think). My favorite character is Meta Knight and I am awsome with him. I'm also pretty good with samus and sonic, but I don't use them that often. This game is just my 1000% favorite game, right now...

Upon the release of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, this list may change.

5: Pokemon Emerald. Hoenn was AWESOME to explore.
4: Metroid Prime. PERFECT GAME.
3: Super Mario 64. Mario's first 3d title was also his best, in my opinion.
2: Mega Man 2. A true classic that never gets old.
1: The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess. No other game has had this purely epic example of a storyline and gameplay. EVER.

...wait, this is an old topic. Whatever, please understand. :)

1) Freespace 2 - The best game I've ever played. The controls, plot and environment were just 1 of a kind (excluding freespace 1 =P ) The graphics were AMAZING for back in the day. It left lasting impressions on me that really made me unable to get "into" any other game for years. This is one of the few games I've played were reading the blurb on the back of the box was a mind-shattering experience.

2) Super Smash Bros Melee - Roy isn't in my sig and avatar for nothing. SSBM had Roy. He was awesome. So that game was awesome. Had he been in brawl... Well. He wasn't =(

3) The Curse of Monkey Island - Funny game. VERY funny game. Also difficult. But it was so perfectly done.

4) Golden Sun - After playing golden sun, all other GBA games just seemed so plain. The game was light years ahead of its competition.

5) Fire Emblem - FE 7. The plot in that game was great, it was enthralling, and most of all, showed how with a million different characters, each can have a hugely fleshed out backstory. Unfortunately, later FE games never seemed to quite be as good as FE7.

Irony is fun.

I guess they figured he was too much like Marth, and Ike holds very many similarities in his moves, so they figured Roy was gonna go.

Really, it's not a good enough reason in my opinion to like Melee better. Other people have pointed out much better reasons. (which I have promptly ignored)

I'm not trying to win you over. These are my favourite games. I maxed out the play time counter with just Roy. I, personally, would never like Brawl as much as melee, due to the exclusion of Roy. Had Roy been in brawl, almost certainly, I would never had stopped playing the game. Since he wasn't in brawl, my play time is only at a reasonable level (as opposed to a stupidly high level.)

here is the obligatory explanation of how that is possible:
-unlock Roy. Make a name. Use that name with Roy, and nobody else. Go to the stats and look at the stats for the name. Once that name maxes out, then you've got max play time with just Roy. Even though overall play time would be higher due to having to unlock Roy.
