So many people are making "test me" or "i need practice" Topics! I decided To make the overall "teh practice topic" topic.
Now, I need practice too :) So ask me to make stuff. (Preferably weapons or RPG stuff) But if your a person in need of practice tell ME and I'll be sure to let others know that your ready for practice, or I myself could give you somethign to work on. So, Are you ready?

I've never seen a topic like this before, but it seems like a good idea, I think you should edit your first post and make it a really big list instead of double posting.
Posted Image (As you can see, I could use practice, just to get into spriting more for my game, so I don't get lazy and quit.)

Your making a mistake in posting the image.

There.
First of all, you have to get the direct image link. Yours was (http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/8436/slimeinspiredbystfd8.png).
now you put that in between (img) and (/img) but with brackets and it will display the image. Simple BBCode.

Well, you could have used different forms of shading, and maybe color improvement.

Ineed master is certenley a better word for those of you who are already skilled in spriting, you have changed me mind i might post in here in the future.
and i find design of the sprite is just as important as the skill its drawn with.

..Or the style. Usually in a set of sprites, they would all have the same style, right? So most of the time, like here on the GMC, alot of young game creators learning how to use Game Maker don't exactly understand alot of the concepts of the graphics they put into they're games, so they usually pick off random graphics people make for them in request topics. Always best to make a team and keep main spriters to do most of the work, or atleast have accessibility to a skilled spriter. You really should post here, and food_ should really list more things to make.

Just thought I would give all you Practicers something to try out, that is simple, won't take long, and is good practice.

Take this:
Posted Image
1. Turn it into just line art.
2. Add/change something on the lineart, to make it a different sprite.
3. Recolor and shade it. Note how smoothly it is, and where the light source is.

(I wont be using your art :) It's completely yours. Just htought it would be a neat excercise for you, considering you will do it all the time when you are redesigning graphics.)
