W00T, UPDATE! FINALLY!
Hell yeah "finally"

While this update lacks the absolute movement [...]
NOOOOOOoooo... Bad MMORPGguy! Bad MMORPGguy!
Filefront link.
Just thought I'd mention that the link in that post does not send me to the download page, but the "join" page instead. Don't know about everyone else.
The link in the first post works, though, and I'm downloading the new version now.
Edit:I like the new version of the big red aliens.
The game performs much better now.
Loading the 2nd level is quicker, too. And I haven't had any crashes yet. Well done
Suggestions:- It's great that you can now navigate the menu with the mouse, but you still have to use the keyboard to change the options. May I suggest that you use mouse buttons 1 & 2 to decrease & increase the values? (Also assigning the mousewheel to this would be a nice touch). And of course add a "back" button on each page.
- He still strafes in the wrong direction when backstepping. This won't be an issue when you enable the player to switch to absolute movement, but for those who prefer relative movement it might be frustrating that he strafes like that.
- Show the controls in-game or include a text file with each release so people don't have to rely on your thread for that kind of info. Besides, the controls in the first post are only for the newest version

- I couldn't find a health indicator anywhere on the HUD. Will there be one?
- The laser weapon is pretty cool. Although, it's a bit too powerful maybe. By the way, when you get to level 2 you no longer have it. Why not? Was it available in the first level for testing purposes only?
- It would be nice if you could make the music on the 2nd level loop seamlessly.
- Prompt before ending current game and before exiting to Windows.
Please, for the love of [
insert something here that you cherish], add absolute movement to the next version. Thanks.
Keep up the good work.
