IGN gave out it's first rating of 10/10 (to GTA4) for the first time since, I believe, 1999. The last game to receive a perfect score from IGN, I believe, was Soul Caliber.
From the IGN page:
The fourth installment of the popular series by Rockstar features improved graphics, new features, and new gameplay. Players take on the role of Niko Bellic, a rough-around-the-edge chap from Eastern Europe. Niko has arrived in America, in Liberty City -- a land full of promise and opportunity. His cousin convinced him to emigrate, to join him in his mansion and life of luxury, but as soon as he steps off the boat, Niko discovers the truth about the American way. Still, the wealth, the comfort, the bliss of the good life, it all really is here ... And it's all for the taking.
GTA IV reinvents the series with a renewed version of Liberty City detailed to the last pothole and rooftop vent. There are now four boroughs to explore plus extra area outside of Liberty City proper. With the ability to climb obstacles, drive cars, steer boats and pilot helicopters, the world of GTA is more accessible than ever before.

I will be getting this for the Xbox 360. Anyone else? From what I hear it has something like 16 multiplayer modes and no loading time while your playing. (Meaning that you can go from outside to inside without a loading screen).

Anyway, my friends told me that they where disapointed about the graphics. And the driving is changed a lot (of the cars/bikes). But it's far from a disapointment!

Me too... I might pick it up anyway when it's inevitably released in a year or two, just so I can see the game run at full speed.Looks pretty good I'll have to get it for the 360, if the PC version was released now I'd get that though.

Just picked the game up for 360 today... THE most amazing experience I have ever witnessed, hands down. There's so much stuff I want to tell you guys but you just need to experience it for yourself. The Euphoria technology is amazing, and allows for some awesome moments. For example, I stole some guys car and he got pissed and tried to open the door. I hit the gas, the door swung open, and he was hanging on for his life at 40 mph. I was laughing so hard, pure gaming bliss.
Wow. If I hadn't already wanted it, I would now.

I'm not going to say that it's the perfect game yet (I haven't played through all that much of it), but one thing's for sure, they've taken GTA to a whole new level this time around, and it looks like it's going to be an epic game. I can't wait to see how it looks and runs on my PC in a year or so, haha.
