Hello Everyone.

I was just wondering if it was possible to find out whether a process with a certain name is running? As in, is it possible to find out if the process named "whatever.whatever" is running under the process list? (press ctrl+alt+del, then click the processes tab to find out what the process list is)

I don't want something to delete or modify processes in any way. I just want something that will tell me if a process is running.

Thankyou.

Yes it is there are some dll's for that if I remember right. If you are trying to detect something you don't want running though, that is not a good way, because changing the name of the executable will bypass that.

I would still like to see one of these dlls. And obviously i would not use it on its own.
