FLaiL is a physics-based platformer with 80 stages. Two player co-operative play is included, and a third player can jump in at anytime by using the mouse cursor to drop bombs on the stage in an attempt to disintegrate the other players. There is a level editor and meticulous stat tracking, as well as other unlockable features.

gfx is pretty funny too, since it's matching the music style. I like the simple character:)

Funny that you say that; it was actually going to be the sequel to Jumper Two, and it can't exactly be a ripoff if it's from the same creator.

Loved it! Its easy to get hang of the controls - its graphics arn't detailed but they work, the gameplay is so much fun, shame I only got half way through Level3 :)

Only bad point I have about it is the music, theres 1 track which repeats at the end, and its horrible ^_^

I'm sure it can't be bad if YoMamasMama made it, but I will make sure it will not cloud my judgment.

*Played the game already*

I have to say this game is awesome, really. I only did Zone 1, and I had a great time. I loved the retro feel to it, and the graphics fit in perfectly. All the sounds all really good, and I'm happy there is no lives system. *Wink* The starting text is hard to read sometimes, but that is it really.

I just have to get use to the physics. . .

- - -

Ouch, so many have fallen because of Zone 3, but I beat it.

I missed this game entirely, had no idea YMM had something new on display.
So I checked it out.
well, as stated before, do love your sarcasm with the subtitle.
The interface is nothing short of perfect, smooth save, load, and very attractive menus to look at.
Music was fantastic, old school, retro, fit the style nicely.
gameplay was great, pixel perfect movement on top of fantastic sprites that make for an extremely fun, and utterly frustrating experience.
I don't think this is your best game, but it's a winner.
An addictive game that I will happily keep on my hard drive.

This game is excellent, liking it more each play. However, I'm not sure if I prefer it over jumper 2. Jumper 2 felt really solid, more blocks to stand on, and less floaty. But that's just this game. I really like the amount of content, music, and level design. Levels are shorter then jumper what I've seen so far, that's also an improvement. I'll play this some more the next few days, and I think I'm going to like it even more.

Great job! Now go for jumper 3.

Might be a bug, occasionally in two player co-op mode the second player is unable to perform the fly move in a diagonal direction.

You better add a warning like this:

WARNING! This game is EXTREMLY hard and should not be attempted by people with bad temper or people who can't control there anger. Injury may result towards self or to other people. Damage to computers or other things is possible.

For reference search "The Anry German Kid" on YouTube. It contains swearing!

Lol...I couldn't beat 2-2 or 2-3...Good game though!

Next time you play, you might want to turn on your speakers :P
From what I remember, there's been different music in each Zone.

Another hardcore platformer that doesn't fail to deliver. As others have said, the inertia takes some getting used to, but once you do, this is a game that will keep you hooked for a while. Until of course you get to that point that you must leave the PC out of concern for it's safety.

Lol...I couldn't beat 2-2 or 2-3...Good game though!

If I remember, 2-2 had me stuck for a while also. One hint there is that it's not as straightforward as you first think. Just because a jump looks possible, doesn't mean that is the correct way ;)

Same here. Pretty much cleared the first 4, except for a few levels... Zone 5 on the other hand I had to skip most.

Silly part is I'm going to have to restart from scratch, looks like my profile somehow got messed up upgrading from the beta version :/ No matter though.

What an excellent game! I got to Zone 3, on that level pictured earlier in this topic. Overall, it is quite fun, and combines perfect platforming gameplay with simple, yet distinct graphics.

A lot of the music was good, though some of it was a bit overly simple and repetitive (especially in the first zone). In the overall mix, the sound for when you get 'beamed up' was also a bit too loud.

Excellent work!

I did 1, 5, 6, and 7. I can't beat any of the rest. I got 78,830 out of 79,650 for the next Zone. So I just need to beat one other level it looks like.

-E-D-I-T-

Just beat level 3 so now I have Zone 6 unlocked.

-E-D-I-T-2-

Zone 6 is really fun. I beat half of the stages so far. Zone 6 is easy in the way that you know what to do just looking at it, but Zone 6 is mostly platform skills which makes hard. . .

Excellent - you really know how to make a cruel platformer. I really enjoyed the Fly ability and all the optional bonus orb things - it really made the gameplay feel different from your Jumper games.
The graphics are nice, as well - my only complaint is that the G Power, Arrows, and Point items were all the same color and shape, and thus a bit harder to tell apart in the really busy areas.

Oh, and I love how you used the Cave Story music editor to compose all the music for the game.

Muhaha, I started AND finished the game 100% today, plus I got ALL cheats! :)
Some of these zones were insanely hard at times, but I managed to get to the very last level, hehe.
Best of all, the game was an insanely hard but fun experience, although I wish we could have multiple rooms and custom tiles to add for the editor :)

Now, with the game 100% finished, there's only one thing that puzzles me... does this Ogmo Golden Statue has any use? It's on stage 2-8, as shown here:
(Ahem, ignore my puny jokes. Just focus on what I said :D )
Posted Image

Anyone know about this statue? Maybe it's just a small gift for finishing the game... still, I think it's pretty cool anyways :D

BTW, Game Rating: 9.5/10
Keep doing great games! Now for Jumper 3, hehe...
