One suggestion I have.

Change the GMC banner. Since the scheme is now silver and lime-green, kinda, change it to look better.

ALSO - To me, the "Game Maker Home" "GMC Rules and Forum Rules" "Calender" "Members" "Search" and "Help"

They just look...a bit...'out-there'

I don't really know how to fix that, except maybe bold them, and take away the black background, replacing it with silver.

Obviously the banner needs changing, I think thats getting done sometime after we upgrade.

The black bar is to help tie the forum in with the colors of the YYG site. Keeping that in mind, i think it fits very well.

No, It means the screen shot was taken by an admin. If you look closer you'll also see the (collapsed) staff only section

I noticed at the bottom there is a link for the top 20 posters, both daily and overall. Is this just an administrator feature? Is it a good idea to offer this option to everyone? I feel that it would create unnecessary competition. What sets the GMC apart is that the only incentive to post is to help others, not to inflate your post count.

I would think that these features would be removed from the forum before it is released, since they suffered the same fate here.

I think everything looks great, except it is a tad bit dull. Perhaps just a little more pop, like I'm really liking those green links on the black background, they really pop out but not too much. Perhaps try making the Yoyogames Icon for each section on the left a little darker instead of that faded out green. For example:

The default GMC skin does that now. Whoever was viewing the test skin at the time might have hit "Mark all new posts as read."

Yes, the icon you see is because there are no unread posts. Here are both of them.

I don't like the change. but I (kinda) like the new lay-out. matching, not too bright, not too boring colors, could be worse/further away from this... pretty good.

I like the new skin! The blackness at the top and bottom though... it could be a little brighter though.

I think it looks pretty good but it doesn't go with the rest of the page, when I looked at the screen shot I couldn't see it untill i read the post made by fenwaydog21.

also i like it but It lacks... something, i'm afraid I can't help here though because I don't know what it is It just looks wrong to me.
