I've always loved pirates. And from a game development perspective they make the perfect characters. I mean theres the sword fighting ,the sea battles , the treasure and of course getting to say booty without getting slapped in the face. I'm not really a very good planner so im still not sure on what features im going to add but if i can figure out how i would love to turn this into a mmorpg. but at my current skill level i think that just finishing a full storyline and haveing a fun game is my main aim.

This game was made with gamemaker 6 so may not work on computers running windows vista or some other operating systems.
in the current update of the secound segment there are 2 boats that can both be controlled by the keyboard. this will not be the case in future versions.
