No, no, no!

The sending of image_index is not required! If you do, you are simply wasting bandwidth. The goal with making an online game is keeping it efficient, which means anything that can be client sided SHOULD be client sided.

Do some basic movement code as above. That code will work. Try manipulating it yurself -- understand what it is trying to do and work it in with your game.

Does this mean that I have to leave my computer on all day to run a game server or is there a way to get a VPS to host it?

I tried to test that with friends, but nothing happened. I ported forward, tried to use hamachi, but my friends didnt connect (i modified the ip to connect to me too). Can anyone could tell me how exactly i could make it work?

Hey i really need help on this.

When I start the server it asks what port im going to use. What port do I use if im using a LAN connection?
