Maze Adventure #1
The maze adventures

:P Game Description: Maze Adventure #1 is the first game that I have created using Game Maker. The purpose of the game is to make it through three levels, with three different themes. You control a blue ball, and using the up, right, left, and down arrow keys, you can move the ball and do many things. You can collect keys, which can unlock certain locks. You can collect stars, both yellow and red, as they give points. Running into starfish, black mysterious men in hats, spooky creatures, and evil monkeys will remove one life. See the help option on the main menu for more information.

Please report all glitches and bugs, comments, and complaints are okay. No suggestions, unless it has to do with fixing a glitch or bug. This is my first game that took me a while to complete, so keep that in mind. Thank you for reading, and I hope you'll enjoy my first game!

Here's a comment (kind of a glitch), you should make it so any key can open any lock. I grabbed a key on the spooky level and the door that I could open was behind a locked door, so I was stuck. If thats the way it's supposed to be, you should at least make them different colors so we can see what key opens what door.

Why had I not thought of that before? I shall add that to the list of new features for Maze Adventure #1 :D

Thanks for the great suggestion!

That was pretty fun.... i would give you a 8/10. The only part i didn't like was that i was not even close the a ghost and it killed me.... same with the spooky cowboys. But overall.... Good job! :(

I think it might have to do with "precise collision checking" not being on, or maybe a bounding box issue. Probably something simple.

What I was asking was 'what theme were you in when it happened, the island, spooky, or jungle theme', meaning if it was the spooky theme, maybe the black men with hats were hidden a bit too much and you ran into one without knowing it.'

I will make sure that this issue is taken care of when I am finished with Maze Adventure #2. Thank you.
