Current Version: 1.2b - Server offline
- Minor update, i think* i fixed the bug where people were crashing when being thrown. Hey decided to revive my old mmorpg a bit, instead of making a new topic i used the old one? Thats ok right? I never bothered finishing this game, but im thinking about continuing/toying with it. I got a newer version up for download, i cant remember what version was on the gmc before, i think it was "ye olde" version which used soc.dll, some of the people on the forum a while back and my friends noticed i scrapped most of the coding and upgraded to 39.dll. I cant really remeber if this version of the game actully worked well or not, so the servers gonna be up for a bit so i can see how good (bad) it is. There arent that many features, you can pick people up and throw them, buy clothes, create partys. Any comments about how laggy it is and stuff are greatly appreciated. woah! Anyways im sure many people never heard of this game before, it was quite a while ago. Basicly the game is about socializing and helping each other out. So far there arent any forms of fighting whatsoever, although i was planning bosses (zelda style, solving a puzzle to beat the boss etc...) There arent really any ways to get money yet, apart from a mini game in the tutorial. So ive placed an NPC at the waterfall which drops 50 zeni every 5 minutes. Make sure you test out the party system, there is a dungeon (completely unfinished) that only lets you see your party members once inside. Im sure its full of bugs Also if it gets laggier than it already was, it could be because of other people in the house downloading movies >.< You may also have problems with the updater if you have vista. In my experience, the updater runs the game after updating but in vista there is that UAC thing, if you get an error after the game has updated its nothing to worry about. Just vista not letting game maker run another file. Screenshots: ![]() ![]() The extremely old trailer: Old Trailer NEW! And improved trailer: New Trailer! Looks fun, but, before I download, I have dial-up, do you think that hamachi is dial-up compatible?

QUOTE (Laugharera @ Nov 18 2007, 08:01 PM) I think it should work. depending on how fast your connection is the game could be laggier for you. And hamachi is for other programs aswell so i guess its fine. ^ yes you do have to use hamachi sorry. =( This post has been edited by Maxi06: Nov 18 2007, 07:08 PM |

Thats pretty cool, its kind of refreshing that you used co-operative gameplay. You dont see that often.

Hey, I liked playing, just fix that major bug I showed you earlier, and it will be even better. This is an awesome game, and to whoever is reading this, try it out! It's not often that games are totally based upon cooperative gameplay, this one pulls it off nicely. Oh, yeah hamachi does work with dial-up, just a bit laggy.

Thanks for the positive feedback im glad a couple of people managed to get hamachi working.
I know hamachi kinda sucks, i was mucking around with my router for days and i ended up just screwing it up some more. I might phone my ISP and see if they know anything about it no doubt they'll charge me loads of cash. |

Great game! Awsome, just needs another update for more skills, and a shop for clothes and it will be the best platformer I ever played!
