COMPILATION ERROR in code action
Error in code at line 23:
image_speed = argument5
at position 24: Symbol } expected.
this was for the attack function
and gmnooby, did you use the parent as a health object(the one that draws the players health)? and unless fyregg changed the code, you dont eaven need to do that
oh and freygg, you said you have an example, would you please upload it? that way we can move off that without in need of a tut
just fix the error,read wut the bug report says,and do it.put a } at position 24....

When you level up, it says ExpToLevel:
Is that EXP to next level, or EXP to the certain level

Im working on a GEX version of this too for those of you whom prefer to use GML
And making a GEX of somthing this huge, well, it takes a REALLY long time!
EDIT: I have had to take out the attack functions because they were very buggy and didn't work. I may replace them later. For now, I am just adding a "Take Damage" Function, ok?

EDIT: SAY WHAT?? A GEX VERSION?? GEX versions are dangerous to lite users...
BACK ON TOPIC: I use GML most of the time, but I don't have the Pro edition...

EDIT: Also, I updated the minimap function for version 4.0, now instead of doing like, a million things, you just use two D&D functions (or GML scripts)

EDIT:And something about the Draw Health action...
draw_healthbar(view_xview+argument0,view_yview+argument2,view _xview+argument1,view_yview+argument3,global.HP,c_b lack,argument4,argument5,0,true,true)You might not want to use draw_healthbar, because it can only go up to 100, and some people have RPGs with their characters more than 100 Health. Not a bug, really, just a tip.

Lately I have been using the "Easy RPG Making Lib"
The example that comes with it has an error but i found you could fix it by
attaching stats1 to the player and setting defence to 0.
however when the health runs out its the enemy that is removed not the player.
The player stays there and can still move around.
I have tried quite a few diffrent ways of making the enemy be the one to get deleted.
But i just cant get it to work.
If somone could send me a fix or tutorial on how to use it i would be very greatful.
