SBL 3D ultimate v4: Rebirth
I say its time to bring the program back to life again

After encrypting it to a good level, I guess I will publicly release my program.

Its been too long hasn't it? Now after some work, and doing alot of stuff, I finally got time to complete my program's v4.

Hopefully this will come out to prove worthy for you enough. But I do say this, you will NOT be disappointed.

Goal:
What I have been trying to get to was that to make 3D easy for everyone. And at the same time, have more features, for
the ones that wants to build more into the game, they will have that flexability. So beginners and expierenced users alike will have easier time to build games of 3D without having to know coding.

  • Complete setup for 3D start commands done for you.

Ths program had alot of work done to it since year ago, this month. So please DO NOT PUT THIS ON ANY OTHER SITE, OR COPYRIGHT IT FOR ANY REASON.

Nice, Im sure D&D users will be happy that they can make 3D games fast and easy, one thing thou, this should be moved into the ".LIB" forum, since this extension is a .lib.

Yes, I will work on that. ( I was going to add it, but it was causing an issue with the program, so I released this version before I take on another step)

good job, but it still needs support for 3d models.....like when the boss comes up on you or the monsters attack, they look like paper cutouts....i know its a lot of work, but add the models function and this will be the best 3dlib...err...extension till date....

Well, that was only a small demo of its capabilities. I was working on this stuff so fast, I forgot to rebuild the other parts. But it shows thats its the easyest of the easy. Like I keep saying, I built this strongly for beginners.

Hear that in the next version you can import external models in .obj format and insert them in your game via D&D
The mosaic light will also be added in automaticly(hopefully) so then theres no need to worry about that!

If you have any problems making the script inserted automaticly you can just pm me.

Also since some of you know I am helping him with this and I am going to pm him
-a skybox/dome
-rotating textures when you use wheels and such.
-probobly a hud(if needed)
-making the bullet shoot the way(and hight) you are facing.
-I might also pm him some 3d particles
and thats all from me ATM.

Yes. I will make sure v2 of sbl 3d ultimate will even bomb this version out into the sun itself. But this may take a little while to put this into the program AND fixing it were its 200% easier. (yes, 200% easier).
But May I suggest you make tutorials & examples with them since I need to refreshen with some of these things?

All this code aint a joke it takes time cause it has allot of lines of code it has exactly

691 lines of code and no I am not exagerating. With this you can activate all 691 lines without knowing it has that much lines. It shows you how much work was put into this.
Adding more functions are just an extra featurewith all the code I sent supreme_boss this extension will have more than 1 000 lines of code in it.

Stairs arn`t that hard maby 20 lines tops.

Well, Zappy, I did ask for requests. And I'm glad you told them how much lines of code that has been put into this program for easyness. That kinda shows how much I think about of helping of others.
Anyways, I have been thinking of ways of adding stairs. And in a way, if you use platforms in a certain way, and dont add the code of "player collision with platforms", it will move upwards like stairs. I will place an example later today as possable.

There are much difrent stuff you can do that isn`t its purpose, but I havn`t mentioned anything.

I know they can request away coding is my hobby its fun adding more things.

Its true. Just mixing variables in the actions, and expiermenting with actions can may cause something no one else has relized yet.

Or give it odd values it can come out totally wrong.

Well, anything is possable. But if people read my tutorials, they may learn some cool stuff. Who knows? It just depends on the people that uses the program basicly.

Well, this will help them too. (because when you hold the mouse still on a action, the action will tell the person were the action goes to and what object it goes to as well.) With this program, anyone can make games as if they knew alot to 3D. And soon, it will be as if anyone knew ALL forms of 3d without 3D coding.

Well, that and no one will be asking all the same faq questions. If more ppl that uses this program, the less questions will be asked about it. They will be asking like
"in supreme_bosses's gex, how do you <question here>" in the 3d questions. And things will run smoother and faster. Now beginners wont ask "how do you make a wall" or "how do you use mouseview?"

yea. If using library actions, or in this case, the ext actions, if people takes advantage of this program, it will be a great choice they will be making.

Maby if you rename some actions and you add some stuff in the help file you can do this.

Create block

instead of

Create Block
Create Stairs
Create Platform etc.

That should be able to work. Just like I said before, since the coding is defult in the medium mode, you can just expierment with the values and make stuff happen.

I support this project as much as I can infact I would never have released those resources if this extension was never made, but luckily it is made so I support this as much as I can.

I have been sent some really good ideas, and I'm planning on adding them to the v2 of my program.
If anyone has any ideas that hasnt pmed me yet of any, let me know. I like seeing new ideas. It helps me know what you, the public, wants.

I am sad to say that the new version might take a little longer...
Since I gave allot more code including models, flag motion, radars etc.
There was so many code that when he added it it collided with the other code... So now I am doing part of the lib. while editing the code to work with the rest of the code.

I'd be happy to assist you guys in any way if you need it. Of course I don't know what I'd be able to help out with anyway, I'm not all that hot with GML (I just know enough to get me by while I learn more).
