I have been playing around with the Ultimate3d engine and found it quite intriguing. The Collision management example is spot on and you can use many different model formats (including anim8or directly complete with animations.)( http://u3d.xinto.net...s&Style=Classic ).

That makes me wonder. Can you use the Anim8or to design stages? Kind of, because the house in that example is a model. But what about object placement? Can the Anim8or scripting language be used in conjunction to assign objects in anim8or to objects in GM as positions on the model, like a real level editor? Sounds plausible, but the ASL is used as a plugin device. Will it work?
