This is a very nice system, but I thought the new version was going to be called Vex K.
EDIT: Oh, I see, Vex K was the old version.

Is it me or the link?
EDIT: I got it to download, but I try out the application and it just says it "isn't working" and closes.

I've added a mirror. Try that. It should work.

Instant play? I've not tried that yet...

Can you do different scoreboards for different games?
I can't find a way, my two games using vex have the scores jumbled up.

There shouldn't be any limit on how long a username can be in the highscores, other than that, this is pretty good.

I will definately use this if you remove the 10 letters limit.

One suggestion, for some games for example reaction tests 0 is the best you can get, you should add a highscore setting that allow the user to invert the highscore result so 0 gets first.
PM me when you have done it

You can make your highscore go ascending by going to highscore settings.

Well, tell me what the limit should be? 10 seems reasonable for names.

As davve941018 said, you can go to "Highscore Settings" and check the "Ascending scores" option.

None? You can easily make your own limit in-game with string_length.

Vex Highscores is probably down again (the author has a habit of leaving his old systems in a broken state, e.g. Vex K). You might want to look into alternatives such as the RoketGames Game Integration which provides both highscores and achievements.

I get the same error, is there anyway to make this work on your own webhotel, I am user of both PHP and MySQL. If you people are going to suggest alternatives please post alternatives that dosn't require game maker pro to be used.

If you are using PHP and MySQL.. why do you need a highscores library? You already have the server which you can store highscores on.

Well I know how MySQL and PHP works, and I am ok with game maker, but I don't know anything about combining them, thus me coming here for help.

Then you'll need to search around for some tutorials and use 39DLL if you want your custom solution :)

Guys, don't worry. The problem will be solved very soon. It's just got to do with the MySQL database. It'll be up and running shortly, and I'll inform when it's done.

PS: I'm sorry I couldn't reply until now. I was quite busy with college and stuff...

EDIT:
The problem has been solved.
