I will edit if it is any good, but it looks cool.

Can i suggest not using Savefile though, because it has pop ups that love uploading spyware onto my PC :P

Thanks for the kind comments.
-Oakleaf- --> Give it a try. Would be great to see more roguelike-styled games on GM.

I tried several times with ASCII graphics but the lack of motivation always struck me down. I should learn to sprite.
But meh, I can't start anything before my omputer gets fixed.

In case someone's interested, I have released the source and updated the game with an icon for the torch. (+ a small draw depth fix.)

JTR, unfortunately your score link seems down and the source vanished somehow? Time passes.

Once I've seen a similar game at the old .NL forum and it had such effects as 'drunk'- moved like one,'confused' - random moves and acts ,'wounded&tired' - the speed gets slower, 'afraid' - moving ahead slow but away (from the source) was double time, 'blinded' - blurring, 'clubbed' - cannot move for a while, 'dread' - the player drops his items on hands and runs opposite direction, etc.

Wasn't it yours? Ok, but depending on the load and condition/ effects the player should 'eat' from 1/4 to 2 of the ration IMO.

P.S. I was turned into slime, lost all equip, ran away with 1 HP and 17 FOOD and YET died with HP=0/8 (of 16) DMG=11 DEF=17 DEPTH=12 KILLS=128 $2578

The download link no longer works. Can someone fix this? Seems interesting.
