hey man this looks great
EDIT Great game! gfx, and sounds are just perfect. Nice old school rouge game :-) I'm gonna play this more for sure, and gonna try to get that necromancer ;-) Didn't see any bugs. More games like this! Good luck with your next projects, this one gets 10/10 from me. This post has been edited by David Dark: Sep 10 2007, 08:32 PM |

Now it is because you changed it!
EDIT: I played it and it was ok... i don't normally like arcade style games but this was an acception. Also i found a glitch. When i when to the alcove or whatever to rest when i pressed 'X', i gained 1 health and lost 5 food like normal. But when ever i moved i lost more food, and more food, AND MORE FOOD. If that isn't a glitch then i suggest getting rid of it because it is so DUMB! But i submitted my score online. This post has been edited by heyufool1: Sep 10 2007, 11:04 PM |

Just saw your post on the Elder Scrolls boards and then saw this seconds after
Good start so far, the retro-feel is much missed on these boards. I died for what seemed like no reason once, but besides that the game was pretty solid. Keep making it! |

This game is really cool. It reminds me of nethack. It was pretty fun. The only thing that bothered me was when the box popped up that required me to press ok because it forced me to keep moving from they keyboard to the mouse and back. I always wanted to make a game like this. I was wondering how you made it so things only happened when you pressed a key. I'll give it a 7/10. You could improve on the starting menus and maybe some more variety in items.

I saw this on Indygamer. This is pretty good, you can never go wrong with a good dungeon hack.

This is one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while... threw me back to the old days of playing Ultima I on my grandparents' unimaginably crappy computer. But what's up with that stupid default text box?
I've written a whole review for it. I think you should post the game at GameMakerGames; good publicity is, well, good, right? |

Amazing game! easily 10/10.
Has a great atmostphere to it. A lot like nethack. This is a lot like what I'm trying to accomplish with Mortigi. PS- I noticed the reference to Rodney/Yendor. I guess your name is Charles? |

In case someone's interested, I have released the source and updated the game with an icon for the torch. (+ a small draw depth fix.)

Now this is just pure fun gameplay! I simply loved this game. I give 9 out of 10 for this game. The reason I didn't give a 10 was becouse it was a little short for my taste, other then that. Pure perfection!
