The game looks good, and is some of the best GM 3d graphics I've seen, but the game has a few bugs.

The bullet trails for the guns aren't very concise. A lot of the times I'll be point blank range with an enemy and not shooting him, and it seems that it's easier to get a head shot the farther away the enemy is. It usually seems to be aimed a little too high.

The AI is pretty good, but it would be nicer if you made some type of grid system that the AI knows is the fastest way to get to where they need to go, with out hitting anything. I know of mp_potential... But, for some games it doesn't work too well. Luckily for you it looks alright.

It gets laggy a lot for no apparent reason. My computer's good enough, and my "The Mansion" seems to have more polygons at a time but runs faster. I'm guessing this has to do with all of the bullet trails going on at once. Sort of a hard thing to get around...

The game was good enough, but it lacks any real game play. Just a regular team death match or other modes would have made the game much more fun. Better yet a small mission mode.

If you make a sequel, I'm sure it will end up being an awesome game.

PS: The name is kind of... bad... I suppose it's hard to change now -_-.

i noticed that enemies seem to have perfect aim, no matter how far away they are, and even if i am moving. Please make it so they miss more often, i can kill them in any less than two tries.

Best 1st person shooter i've seen done with game maker.
A couple of things tho...
I was running away from the AI players in a lan game, and I somehow mannaged to run Backwards up the Rock wall...
there was a sound loop while i was playing, a shooting sound i think it was kept repeating. then cleared up after about 20 secs.

I also think that the AI should miss sometimes, when they shoot at you...
Instead of makeing them take ages to respond to give you a chance, you should make it so there is more variaty to their shooting.

Make them miss once in a while when they shoot at you.

Also another bug. While i was playing lan game, I think i somehow had infinite life.

Why are you playing on LAN without another person, but with bots?!?! This is why there are bugs. You should 'Play with AI'.

I must say that a lot of time and effort has gone into this game and it show because the final outcome is very good apart from a few minor things. Level design is great and you have done a good job working with GM's limited 3D functions.

A few minor things:-

1. The AI is overly accurate, I had 5 AI on my team and 1 on the other and the 1 guy was blowing all my other guys away. This doesn't seem really accurate.

2. Sometimes the sounds loop over and over for no real reason and it's quite random ( not always the same sound)

Thats is, otherwise great game.

Dmitko, you had crouch in one previous version. There are thing to do in this game.Do them and upload the new vershion. You cant just leave the game without this things. And when you fall in the water, the game freazes! :( :(
You must work on it.If you compleate the level "islands" (fix the water) this game will be AWSOME, just AWSOME.Will be nothing to preprevent this game from becoming one very good FPS which is better than alot of GM FPS games and comersial FPS games.I am serious about this...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

But in real there are about 20 without bots and 15 with bots on this PC:
184 ram
1,7 Ghz processor
64 video memory...
And 30 fps without bots and 25 with bots on this PC:
700 and something RAM...
1,7 Ghz processor
Nvidia Geoforce with 256 video memory

THIS GAME IS MADE IN GAME MAKER.So is normal to work with low framerate.

I don't know why people are complaining about the frame rate, it ran at 30FPS all the time (with or without bots) system:-

AMD 64bit 3500+
1Gb DDR Ram
Ati 9600XT 128mb
WinXP SP2

This is a 5 year old machine, and it runs just fine. If you are having issues, you need to get a better video card, NEVER use the on-board one. (unless it's a laptop)

wow this game has realy bloomed over the mounths i remember when it was just a little baby with cruddy graphics :skull: jk

but seriously it was fun there where many many glitches tho especaily with the ai
1. they always hit me (:D)
2. some times with realy large teams(9-10) i got an issue wear all the other player team disapered they whern't on the map at all
3. for some reson ocaionaily there would be a guy stuck over in the wall and he was sooooo bugged i kileed him and the animation would stop playing
4. the ai was as dumb as a bunch of kindergarens (espacily in large groups)
5. the game slowed down very often (and i have a monsterous graphics card too)

good stuf:
MANY MANY MAPS (i love having varity and wide open spaces good job)
over alll fun
nice graphics (alltho its not the best i KNOW is possible with GM its very nice)
many options that waws nice almost ever aspect of the game was changeable
many wepons (nice)
and very detailed models :skull: (its the textures i don't like)

overall i loved it just wish the AI wasn't a bunch of kindergarener who went strait to boot camp until they where killing machines :skull:
hope to see a future update ::lmao::

Wow, a very nice FPS indeed. I love all of of the customibility options, this is one of the few games that I notice had a HUD Alpha option. The sounds are very fitting. There were a few bugs/bad things though...

-On the level 'Islands' while shooting on a bridge, your bullets will sometimes collide with the...air.

-Also while on Islands...my team turned on me! For some starnge reason I don't know...

-The enemies didn't have too many dodgeing tactics...they just stood still about 5 ft away from each other shooting...

Then are some very good things...

-Large amount of customizable options.

-Real weapons that function realisticly (Like in most games an M4 is more Powerfull than an AK, which is completely unrealistic...)

-A variety of weapons

-Large amount of maps

So, overall this is a great game!

HL2 Sourceforts remade in Gamemaker..Err--downloading. I like CTF's so this doesn't look too bad.

--Edit-- (Sorry,I had to showar..)
Holy shyte, this is better then expected,however...give the people less hp,it shouldn't take so long to kill someone, and a headshot would mean instant death,or at least a 2-bullet death. I like it, but seriously, the weapons are way too weak,if I shot a bullet trough your head,I dont think you would hop around for another 10 seconds huh?

I have already given you a review of this version, and I don't have time now to write another right now. So for now, I will just say this:
Some People say that Game Maker's 3D is bad. But this Game proves that Game Maker CAN do sweet things in 3D. This Game is fun to play, easy to understand, and extremely well developed! ::lmao::

Great work!

I can't believe it?!?!?
Why is noone replying?!?!?!?

Probably because of your abuse of grammar and that you bumped the topic.

Caliber is the diameter not the length (always gets me confused). AK is roughly 7.6mm compared to M4's 5.5mm

The AK47 and pretty much all the AK family (apart from some of the more modern models designed for the export market) fire 7.62x39mm and the M4A1 fires 5.56x45mm. The M16, if anyone is interested, fires .223 Remington. The AK47 fires near to 600 rounds per minute and the M4A1 fires, in theory, 800 rounds per minute but the latter doesn't actually have fully automatic firing, only 3 round burst.

Anyway, the actual game... I'll do my usual run-down:

The good:
+1 - Lots of fiddley options and bits
+1 - Graphics are... Ok
+1 - A variety of maps
+1 - Network play, if only LAN
+1 - The one music track was surprisingly good

The bad:
-1 - Big file size, even zipped it's 13.1 Mb.
-1 - Changes resolution without asking me.
-1 - Doesn't support 1280x1024 or 800x600.
-1 - Abysmal sound
-1 - One music track
-1 - Randomly crashed when I tried to leave the game, I'm now stuck in 1024x768
-1 - Terrible AI - runs into walls and generally sucks...
-1 - ...and despite having the movement control of the toddler has pinpoint accuracy
-1 - Awful slow-down... and why have you got the game speed capped at 35?
-1 - Network play, but only LAN

The run-down:
5 good and 10 bad is a negative 5 point difference, dividing that by 2 gives you:

2.5 out of 10 - Bad

BAD?!
If you think so...

-1 - Big file size, even zipped it's 13.1 Mb. - you won't find any game like that that is less file size
-1 - Changes resolution without asking me. - many proffesional games do this
-1 - Doesn't support 1280x1024 or 800x600. - most GM games don't even change resolution
-1 - Abysmal sound - I don't have money for anything better
-1 - One music track - but it is good
-1 - Randomly crashed when I tried to leave the game, I'm now stuck in 1024x768 - yes, this is a great minus, although it doesn't do that with me
-1 - Terrible AI - runs into walls and generally sucks... - yes, a big minus
-1 - ...and despite having the movement control of the toddler has pinpoint accuracy
-1 - Awful slow-down... and why have you got the game speed capped at 35? - for that kind of a GM game you just need a better PC
-1 - Network play, but only LAN - most GM games don't even have multiplayer, especially first-person shooter

You are just envyous about it...
1.No, this is a good game and should be 13 megs
2.Yes, I fully agree, but most of the PC-s are 1280 X 700 and something...
3.Nope...I fully disagree
4.And...what about it...Will you die?
5.Err...GM bug...
6.Not so bad...
7.Nope...
8.You ever made a game in GM?!
9.Will you die?!You will never use something different than that...

Have you EVER made a game in GM?!
You sound very n00b-ish to GM

Let me se you making game in GM!

@ theman: Though you are entitled to your opinion, I couldn't agree more with Ivo Geprgiev.
There are some minor problems, but for a GM Game this is quite common. Also, I think that the rest of the game's quality makes up for them.

That is right. It is only 13 MB. It is more than a usual GM game, but this one isn't usual.

This game is horrible. I played it for 10 seconds and it was laggy, boring, and just sucked. Good graphics on a simple game making program doesn't give a game the right to suck. :P
