Hi, i have a question... is Mreg free for commercial games ? (license?)..


which happens if your database shout down ? :lol: ;)

Yes, MReg System is free for commercial games as long as you give credit to me in some way (stated in the ReadMe)

I make backups of the database incase of anything.
A future version (hopefully version 3.00) will allow you to host your own databases.

I saw that you still typed "My Game" in the subject field of the email feature.
Can't that be %%PROGRAM%% ?

Woah! Great work. I hate to ask this but what motivates you improving this application? After all you don't gain much of this do you? Secondly is the ip-address the only way to know is a key used on another computer? They're not always very reliable you know. Perhaps creating a hash of multible security factors of customers computer and comparing that to those on the database could help on that matter. Just my idea...

The subject line currently doesn't support the template values like that, but it is on my to-do list.

Don't know my motivation really, just that people like this program and is something I like to work on.
The IP Address is not the only way to know if the key is used on another computer. You can also view the Windows Username that the user has used the key on along with the IP. I might add something else in the near future but no plans of it yet.

Version 2.50 is out, with a lot of new features:

- New About Box which now also includes the credits and a new logo
- New function in DLL: checkOnlineStatus
- New function in DLL: enterKeyWindow
- New function in DLL: enterKeyWindow_getName
- New function in DLL: enterKeyWindow_getKey
- Delete Account option
- Create and store notes for users
- Create and store notes for keys
- Able to change your account password
- Small feature to show all banned keys in red
- Search for key overuse
- New quick note viewer and quick note edit button
- Use template fields (ex. %%NAME%%) in the subject line

Wow man this is awesome! I have always been scared to make a game to sell because of hackers and stuff! I cant wait to see where this goes! 10/10

not yet, not yet, I'm working hard in the free time I have. Version 2.50 is currently the newest release, version 3 will hopefully be out soon.
I have a lot of other things going on, so I'm trying to fit in time to work on this project as much as I can.
Version 3 will include some awesome new features, like database hosting, and key expiration dates.

can you explain by what you mean about the template field for the amount of times you can use the key?

In the program, you can set the amount of times a key is aloud to be used.

Can't give too many details on that :P
But, progress is going a bit slower because of school and all,
however I am still working on it when I have the time.
I have already added some new features which are pretty awesome.
