first post!
oh boy, this looks so cool! So I am downloading... can't wait to edit!
wow! this is one of the best games i've played in a long time! Pretty hard, though.
The graphics are extremely smooth!
I will give this a 9/10!

Imagine a large mansion. And imagine that it has light, reflected off of the very large moon at night. Now imagine rain. Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. Now imagine a light flickering in one or two of the windows of the mansion. And finally, imagine a cinder block and some sort of burnt trophy, laid on the side of the house; pieces of broken metal and wiring is twisted over and under them. Then imagine that the flickering lights turn off. Now the moon turns off. Did you like that? go here to read the full story...and PM me about it if you liked or didn't like it...

These sprites are amazing! Did you make them yourself? (What program did you use if you did?)

This game is hard but fun.

Since there is no sound I give it a 9/10, but everything else was awesome.

Full Edit

I played it back and I guess I didn't read that part darklink570, so with the power I got from reading I father into the game, and take back all the things I said. The game is very fun and makes you think from now and then. I just got to the Bow (Forgot its full name) I like all the weapons so far I was stuck for a while on the spinning circle few that was hard.

---

Graphics 8/10: Very good hard to believe that you made them, I'm guessing you had some team or something
Sounds 8/10: All the sounds are very nice but like you said (Post Below) you found some of the sounds.
Game play 10/10: The game play was great I had problems doing anything and to top it off no bugs
Replay Value 6/10: Seeing as it is a puzzle game it is not that fun to re-play seeing as you might know some of the stuff.

Overall 8/10

I'm not a super game rater so I might have missed some things or have been off somewhere and sorry if I made you mad. :GM7:

Edit Two:

I just beat all world one levels and used all the guns. (I think) All the weapons are so cool the last world one level had for me a long time so I hope I can beat the game if it is not too hard.

What I really want to say is all the weapons are so cool and this is a really great game! The replay value is still low.

I made everything in the game except for most of the sound effects.
I use the GM editor and MS Paint for making sprites.

To Orc Leader, the training levels give you all the information you need on the weapons.

The Gfxs are great. But I found the gameplay more original then fun. The puzzles are often build to be more frustrating then fun. It is, for example very hard to aim with the bow, but you must make very presice shots. Anyways, a proffesional looking 2d platformer is never a bad game, just not what I had expected.

I just finished all the levels and thought it was a really good game.

Very few bugs were found, but there was a point i was able to skip a whole puzzle on a later level as i showed you on MSN.

Its a shame it lacks replay value, once you've finished the game. If you do plan to expand up on things then maybe add a time trial mode or even a level editor.

Wow, excellent game. I wouldn't say that there's anything particularly new here, but the level design more than made up for it. The game had a great replay value, as far as I was concerned. My only complaint is that the character and gun sprites didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the game. Everything else was beautifully done.

If you mean the blocks and the gates then select below:
SPOILER:
Drop the crate on the horizontal gate at the top. Then hit the switch to drop it below. Then he the switch to raise the verticle gate and run forward and grapple towards the box. Took me a few tries though.

For your question about how many levels there are I'm guessing 20. Five tutorial levels and fifteen normal levels, and each five story levels start a new world.

Also don't feel bad I had to get help there too.

This is an awsome game! There aren't too many puzzle platformers that turn out good. I love the graphical style, the graphics fit very well, and it's challengeing at times! The first level of the Laser Marker was sorta difficult though.

9/10!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not in my game. Yeah, I made 24x32 sprites that aren't flat. In your face... I guess. Meh, this post is off topic. As earlier mentioned it is a great game but the spider-web cannon thing is a bit frustrating. Not only because I suck too much to use it right, but because the webs don't stay long enough to make it fun and challenging, just annoying.

The graphics were amazing and immensely appealing.

The gameplay, however, was some of the most frustrating I've ever beheld. I about pulled my hair out trying to get the spider-web gun to work. It got to the point where it stopped being fun. Others might find this merely challenging, but from the difficult hybrid keyboard/mouse control system to the head-ache inducing targeting system-- well, it's just not my game, I guess.

Looks nice, though.

It is the best GM game I have ever seen for few last months. Death Worm was my previous hit, but this is truly amazing and addictive, very original, almost perfect game.

Also, it is hellishly goddamn diffcult, true torture  I'm stuck every while and every time I overcome something, my fingers hurts more. You really should add some saves after every room, this starting from the beginning is even more frustrating torture. I can imagine how some people plays this game in a tight latex suit and a hood with a zip.

Please, can someone give me advice with 1-4? There's a place with lanterns going on conveyor belts (when I switch it on), but I can't get to them. I have tried everything, like trying to light them up by a bow, to grab them by grapple or to jump, catch it in the air and somehow land back on the plaform. But this method costed me repeating the level, so I don't think its the solution.

There's a kinda gun up there, but I guess its just to show what's coming next, so its neither a part of solution. Do I have to hit the switch in that circle by a flaming arrow? :D If yes, I hope it's a joke.

The bow is actually very diffcult to handle. There are factors like angle, target distance, speed of charging, speed of arrow... In reality it would be easy to aim with certain power and wait.

PS: its a good idea to have no music there, Bluetech or Aes Dana fits perfectly.

you turn on the 'production' line, then you go down to the latern, light the arrow and shoot out the ice block

then you have to light a lantern via arrow shot after the 1st drop from the conveyor belt

then you switch guns, grapple up and across over the wall, angle an arrow over hitting the ! AND moving to the right so your on the right side of the wall

then you wait for the LIT lantern to drop from the last belt and shoot it with an arrow at the PRECISE time to light the arrow and hit the ice block, then grapple across and viola

took me a while as its a lot of precise actions that need to be done but i screamed when i got it, made my sister jump in fright too haha

GL with it

ps. if the game creator wishes, a mod can delete this post as ive posted a level spoiler

Wonderful! The level design is genius. I do have to agree with Jenner though, it gets frustrating sometimes, but there is a sense of accomplishment when you finally hit it or get in in one shot (which I did twice on 1-4 because I kept hitting the ledge after I grappled instead of getting up on to it). I'm on 2-1 now and still playing. Very professional and stylish. Great job!

POSSIBLE SPOILER, TELL YOU WHAT TO DO BUT YOU STILL NEED SOME THINKING.

Orange circles with the eye in the middle level =P

If the level you're talking about is the one with 3 orange circles and an eye in the middle, you just have to rearrange all the gaps in the circle so you can shoot through it with the laser. There's 2 blocks that will stop the orange circles from moving if they're in the gaps but careful, if 1 block is stopped, the other is too.

How do you get past the level with the attracter, dispeler thingy, when you have 1 box on a ledge above you, a polarity changer in a crack above you, a box below the ledge in a slight pit, and another box right at the edge of that pit? I can't hit the polarity changer thingy...

EDIT:That would be the second room of 1-5

EDIT#2: Woah! I pressed esc to confirm that the level I was stuck on was 1-5, but when I got back into it, I spawned at the end of the first room, without the polarity gun, which means I am hopelessly stuck...

EDIT#3:Also on the level with the conveyor belt, and lanters that somebody was stuck on, this is what happened to me... I went under the gate thing, from where you would shoot to destroy the ice block, but the gate came down when I was still under it, and was teleported to ontop the conveyor belt! Then the level was easier than pie, I didn't think to try out the gun up there though, and I should have taken a screenie... oh well...
