Oo! Just what I've been looking for!

Length: 1-2 minutes, more if you feel like it.
Loop: Yes

Harmonic, calm, tranquil, peaceful, etc. etc. it is basically showing the peace of Antarctica.

Also, could you do a slightly more upbeat version of the one mentioned above (for tilte screen)? It doesn't have to loop.

Thanks!

Dark Blade: I know you said in your previous topic you need this by August 8th, but I must insist on seeing your game before I write any music. Can you post a link or send me a PM, please?

I was just passing around, I don't need music right now. However, if will very probly need some for my next games. I listened to your musics. I didn't like the two first songs so much (not my style, even if pretty good), but then I listened to the other ones, and they are just wow. The Smell of Fear and Languidity were amazing.

These songs sounds pretty good, but I think you should (if you don't) compose some mp3s too. Anyways, keep it up. You got a lot of talent.

OK, sorry that I didn't read your Terms of Use thing before, so I didn't know I had to post up my game. I was a bit rushed. But here it is: Antarctica - A Penguin's Journey

Oh, and just so you know, not to rush you or anything, but I need this kinda soon. On or before (preferably before) the 11th (Australian time, basically 48 hours) would be really appreciated.

N.B.: The coding of the game is all pretty much finished, however, I still need to add a few graphical touches.

Okay Dark Blade! I'll see if I can't get it done today.

Kapser: Oops, I didn't see your response in my hurry.

Thank you very much! I don't do MP3's; the sounds in my software are of a fairly low quality. However, some rules can be bent, and others can be broken. If there's a great musical project someone comes up with I might be tempted to stretch myself a little. Thanks for replying, nice to hear from you again.

Dark Blade: How's this for a titlescreen/main melody? I'll do another variation of this for the gameplay itself in a jiffy if you like the idea.

File: Penguin Menu.mid
Length: 1 minute (1:08)
Instrumentation: Electric piano, SynVox synthesized sound, Harp, Violins, Cellos, Harpsichord
Loopable: yes
URL: http://btibbetts.com.....guin Menu.mid

raving_rabid: Okay! Let me finish up with Dark Blade's request and I'll get right on it. May I see your game, just so I know what I'm working with?

Fiender: Sure, I'm willing to do your music, but like the deal with raving_rabid I need to see your finished game before I start, okay?

Fiender: Excellent. I'm downloading your game as I speak.

raving_rabbid: Got your PM, looks good! I'll write it as soon as I can.

EDIT:

Fiender: I like your game. Let me finish Dark Blade's and raving_rabbid's stuff, I'll get right to you.

Thanks! Your work rules!

I like how this sounds, so a variation similar to it would be fine by me.

;) Thanks for the compliments, guys. First time I've been called a genious, for sure. :P
Seriously, thanks. Actually, I like that smiley too but I'm rather inclined to prefer the really fat one that moves slowly... they're way harder to catch.

Dark Blade: I'm on it. Get it to you tonight unless something comes up.

EDIT:
(licks lips) Mmmm... foot...

Okay, so I'm not quite finished yet. :P I'll continue to work on this in the morning; I've got about forty seconds done on that Antarctica piece. I know you're in a rush, I'll do my very best.

Loopable: yes

Is this what you were looking for?

raving_rabid: I'll get started on yours.

raving_rabbid: Here's your minigame music. Admittedly, it's a bit strange, but it does what you wanted in 50 seconds. Just had a little fun, nothing more. :) If you'd prefer me to rewrite the music differently please let me know.

File: Theme to 'Gunner'.mid
Length: 50 seconds + crash cymbal (0:52)
Instrumentation: Steel Guitar, Electric Bass, Tenor Recorder, Trumpet, Violins, Cellos (pizzicato), Vibraphone, Drumset, Crash Cymbal
Loopable: no
URL: http://btibbetts.com/music/Freelance%20Wor...Gunner'.mid

As you can see I thought up the name, 'Gunner'. It's an idea.

Fiender: You're next... I'll start yours tomorrow, if it's alright. I'm a little tired and gonna turn in for the night soon.

raving_rabbid: Sounds good. I had a little fun looking up "Yet to be Named" in an anagram generator... it came up with some surprisingly relevant results! :) Just nothing that would work as a title that I could see.

oh and thank you so much!

You're very welcome. Let me know when your game's released!

Fiender: I hate to do this to you, I know you've been waiting a while for yours already but I need some clarification from you about something.

I've worked on yours for some time today but a little ways through it occured to me that the stuff I was writing was really more "exciting" than scary or chilling, because you said it needed to be "fast". (I do, however, have church bells at my musical disposal  ). Are you looking for something menacing in the sense of something slowly approaching? Specifically, the context of the music in the game is what I think I need.

Please respond as soon as is convenient, as I will be leaving on Monday for a week or so and will be unable to post your music after that (I will write as fast as I can, however!).

Well, the scene is that something terrible happens, and the good guys start getting slaughtered... if that helps. Does that help?
