Draw Outside The Gm Window

Is there any DLL that allows you to draw anything outside the GM window. I have seen a draw_text outside the gm window but what about sprites/backgrounds?

Yeah, I'd like to know that as well. Like, if I want to draw an image outside the window to have it look like it has round edges etc.
Still can't find anyone who has any idea. I need this to work in Game Maker 7.0.

The Question is what you want to do. Simply paint (what will be erased by moving a window in this area) or draw animated things. Second will need single layered windows. you can find something like this anywhere here.
