I'd like to also like to see some slopes implimented. That is what would truly make your engine better than TopHunter7's. :P

This is a great engine. When I release G-Creator (http://www.g-creator.org ) can I convert this engine to g-creator format?

We need top quality engines.

It would be released under BSD license so people will have to give you credit if they use it in their games.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah sure, that's completely fine with me!

Yeah, i might start working on it, problem is, his engine is easier for slopes since it doesnt contain acceleration, but i'll try!

Nice, seems to have everything you'd need in a platform game. 10/10!

Don't worry about it. :( It's the draw rectange function that makes it require a regestered coppy.

Anywho, I like the fact that you're using the repeat function for movement.
You now have new access to many new posabilities. For example, better movement down slopes.
I can tell you a meathod of achieving this if you want.

*COUGH*
if place_meeting(x , y+2 , obj_slope)
{
/*||*/ if !place_meeting(x+sign(xspeed) , y+1 , obj_Floor) /*(assuming the floor is a parent of the slope)*/
/*|||||||||*/ y+=1
}

*/COUGH*

Pardon my alergies. :)

Thanks man, i might work on that later! I also have a few more bugs to add to my 'to-do' list, make crates go up slopes, make ice smoother, just some minor things like that.

If you find a bug, don't fret to say what it is!

Thank you, be sure to post beack saying how it goes, and also to check for updates!
I've started on the website, which will eventually have the poll setup (hopefully in a few days!).
You can find the website here!
