I got rid of Double Jump and Wall Jump, but I really am tempted to work on this open source engine and add things people requested. I already have a working 'Checkpoint' system and 'Textbox' integration. PM me if you guys are still actually interested

Migrated all the features I wanted into my engine, and it works like a charm (Apart from the movable platforms, but that is my problem, not your engines).

I know I'm interested in this, since this is one of the better platform engines that I can learn from. Very well executed, not only with the different stuff that is implemented, but the sprites are well done as well.

I have used some features in my game from this engine and to let you know I gave credits...
I have also some features you can add to the newest version (If made !).
You can add, for instance :
-light effects around the player. When the player collides with a object (like a light switch), which turns the whole room dark, except the player who has light around him...
-smart platforms. They are standing still, and when you collide with them, after a few seconds, the smart platform moves. When you leave them, again after a few seconds, the smart platform returns to the original position...
-antigravity. When you collide with a object (like a gravity changer) it changes the path of gravity and the player can walk on the celling hanging upside down (without falling). When you jump, you start falling down and then you return back.
-inventory. During the game you will collect many things, which will come in your inventory.From there you can use them in the game.
-achievement. When you do a certain thing, you unlock a achievement and get achievement points.
-shop. You can go to it when you press a certain key. There you can buy several items.
-gifts. In gifts there are : coins (collect 100 for a free life), lives, achievement points (with them you can buy stuff in the shop),...
-destroyable blocks. When you jump on this block, it is destroyed and releases gifts.

This is a list of some possible features you can add, Eddy. I will try to put these features, in this engine, but I can`t start it right now. it will take some time. When I am ready I will upload the link with the update... :D
