Crap, um about the wall issue, ideas?. also, Im going to add health variables in, i havent done so yet. i

@darkpinoccio i put in a speed variable that you can alter, and sprite changes for when you press left or right, and the two player controls are going to be left and right for player 1, and 'A' and 'D' for player two. the jump is gonna be up and 'W'. but i dont know how to fix the wall thing, hold up, maybe i can put an if check for the x value too. let me see what i can do. also i added a custom jump scenario so you can set how much to jump :lol:

uh,.....im having a bit of trouble, what would you recommend for the wall problem?


Edit: I found out the problem, and its fixed :lol: . do you want me to just release it, or do you want to wait because i have now added (custom jump, sprite change and walking speed, fixed the bug with the wall, other than that, nothing much. im thinking about incorporating a system to create buttons too.
give me ideas on what to put in this next version

Okay, just redownload the link. the link says v3, but its v4. :lol:
in version 4 there is better collision. 2 players. custom jumping, and a wall collision
event so you wont go flying up the wall :huh: . enjoy, and give feedback

this looks extreamly good but the link is giving my computer download trouble....i'll try later and edit this post but you won't mind if i use this later do you? likr for my purposes just don't get to hyped yet i still have yet to download it :lol:

when i tried to download it took a long tme... nothing happend^^ what u should do is use this:

None of the above links working? Try downloading directly from Host-A.

if u look a little u should find it

well um i tried that and well there was crap about corupted files and obsolete folders and what not, i have GM7 is that a problem?

u know that u place the .lib in lib folder right...
sry don't really get your problem.... my eng is pretty bad :lol:

Also a heads up, if you want to jump without your character shooting up the wall and going over, use the custom jump. in the next version i am taking out all other jump variables, and only leaving the custom jump

Found 1 bug, if u go in to an wall press jump (still holds the direction button) u will be able to climb the whole wall.

I found out why. you have to put the 2 jump steps before you put the movement step, or the movement allows infinite jumps along walls. so it would look like this
Jump Step1
Jump Step2
Player1 Step.


Instead of this
Player1 Step.
Jump Step1
Jump Step2

So it works universally. if you want them to go up the wall, just switch the codes around a little, otherwise jump before move. like rise over run!!. but i also added Wall collision with different gravity patterns so thats why it works right :huh:

hmm, can i edit the sprites in the lib (just for me)
i won't change anything else or upload it!
