Title: Particle Stream Following Examlpe
Description: An example of how to create a particle stream and make it follow a object, or the mouse
Type: GM6
GM Version: 6.1 (reg)
Link: Download Streamfollow.gm6
Filesize: 0.01 Mb
Other Info: I like credits but its not nessecary. Use the arrow keys to move the object and press space if you want it to follow your mouse instead.
It's very effective if you're going to create spells for your game (eg. fireball) or a cool effect on a sword :)
that's about it.

Thank you for using and I hope it helps.

[Edit] added screenshot :D

That's too easy to make for advanced or pros. It'll help newbies though. Good job.

Yes its very good but when you move UP it just clusters together and you dont get the same effect as when you move down, is there a way to make it the same in any direction?

Yes you can.. you only need to change the particle script.. set the gravity, direction and speed to 0

[edit] By the way, try to create your own particles! :)

The object shows the Game Information screen first, but for some reason its showing yours as empty, thus why it only shows as a white screen and why it works after pressing Esc.
