A K H Light Switch, a very original strategy game Options

in this game, you control a Light Switch in a life-or-death situation. You have angered a race of flies and one by one, they are bombing and destroying the Light Switch. You must turn it on and off in order to kill the different flies, which are sensitive to different types of light. Some cannot survive when the light is on, while others cannot survive when the light is off. Use F4 to change fullscreen and F6 to change sound volume.

This is a nice mini-game, though it is somewhat limited. Perhaps you could have multiple lightswitches, that create light in a general area. Therefore, it would be more strategic to choose exactly which lightswitch to use. When there is only one, you can just flicker it on and off, and kill everything.

Good job, though. This is an original idea.

actually a really good idea I liked it!
got boring quickly, even with additional bugs being added in but would be nice if "Light Switch 2" came out with more lightswitches like thetagames said, or else some other way of mixing it up a little bit

Thanks for the replies! has anyone got a high score over 100,000? Anyway, here's a little update...

I have changed the GM7 version so it no longer takes a screenshot when you press F9, and now shows my details in it's properties.

I considered adding more lights, which lighted certain areas only, but if I did that, the harder flies (which regain health in the right type of light) would be very hard to get rid of. They're hard enough now. And it would also be very difficult to light certain areas only (with, e.g. gradient ellipses) than it is to light the entire room. But I still might consider doing this, we'll see...
