Nice amount of content you got there. I just don't really like the design. It's a little too plain. Overall though, pretty good.

Plain, but it's a nice change from the previous freewebs layout you had.
BTW, when are you gonna put up that Breakout game that I helped a little with (level design)? This post has been edited by Burnt Waffle Productions: May 10 2007, 12:26 AM |

Like I said, it not the next biggest website, but it gets the job done. Probably tommorow if everything goes right (I just got my Cable TV and Internet back after losing it for 2 days, really blew off my projects |

This is okay, I guess. Most people who start out HTML love Times New Roman for some reason..
CODE <style type="text/css"> * { font-family:verdana; } </style> Put that anywhere on your site if you want a different font, or if you want a layout, PM me. This post has been edited by DavidX: May 10 2007, 02:56 AM |

I changed the font. I forgot completely that I was using a boring font when I made it.

Nah... That just puts ads on my website. I suffered through the one I put up.
I changed the background, not much of a difference, but I think it deserves mention. |

I still think you should make a better design for your website.

Can I suggest something from a design point of view?
You're using way too many colours for your text on an already 'busy' background. There's three on the first page, stretching to four on others. Also you've underlined some text that isn't a hyper-link. Nice content though. TtT. |

The font isn't very nice, the alignment isn't right and you've added too much graphical content on the first page in comparison with fairly little text.

QUOTE (LAR Games @ May 13 2007, 09:01 PM) Like? I'll proabably find a template or something and go through the change when school ends. I'm pretty busy right now with finals. Got any suggestions? I thought the background was really subtle and basic. The text is only 3 colors; Red: titles, White: text, and Blue: hyperlink. I don't really see any problem with them QUOTE (Grego @ May 14 2007, 02:41 AM) The font isn't very nice, the alignment isn't right and you've added too much graphical content on the first page in comparison with fairly little text. It's just a basic font. What's wrong with it? You mind explaning what you mean by alignment, I'll fix it. Yeah, I just threw a couple ads up, and a counter... You're right on this one, I guess, I'll take stuff down. At least you spoke your mind, Grego... If it wasn't for your sig, you might have offended me. |

For the alignment thing: It's all aligned to the very left, with little padding from the edge of the screen. Also, it's just one block of text which looks a bit odd on the front page. Essentially, it looks as if you haven't worried about page layout. This doesn't seem so bad on other pages: the front page is the main culprit.
I still stand with font thing. It's just that I don't like it really. |

QUOTE Nice content I'm getting two different opinions here. We're not going for a fancy website, fancy hurts my eyes. No no, I said "Not a lot of content", I never said no content. Also, only a few games isn't a lot of content to me, mainly because of the fact that I have over 25 examples on my site, and over 15 games. Lol. |
